Koji found himself the mutual point in the firefight, much to his dissatisfaction. He took cover, using his heightened reflexes and agility to the best of his ability. He still took two slugs, one in his right arm and one in his back, by his left shoulderblade. Neither were life-threatening, but Koji still cursed his stupidity.

Looking out, he saw the pirates heading back towards a boat. It appeared they were leaving, meaning now it was him and the police. Calling on his power, he burned the slugs out of his body and seared the wounds shut. The pain was excrutiating, Koji nearly blacked out. When he regained his full facilities, he looked out over the crates and saw the police were still advancing. He sighed. "So much for not standing out..."

Waves of heat rolled off Koji as if he was an oven. Shimmering like a mirage, he stepped from behind the crates he'd used as improvised cover. The police, totally caught off guard, stood paralyzed with fright. Koji focused some of his power into his hand, creating a ball of white hot flame. He smiled at the cops and threw it at the nearest cruiser, engulfing it in flame. Seconds later the gas tank ruptured, sending a deafening explosion across the pier. Koji lit up the remaining cruisers, watching the cops scramble for cover.

Kiba looked at the girl Wasn't much of sleep He thought "Kiba you?" she was cute but that didnt matter to kiba.

The girl didn't seem to have noticed Violet, and so she walked off to explore the festival around her. Looking around more, she noticed more fake creatures creeping their humanselves around in upbeat moods, unaware that their "rolemodels" exsist. Then again, she didm't truely exsist either, she was simply science...a fused combination of bird and human. Shrugging the thoughts aside, she wandered her way down the street, more in observation of the stands and booths, then the people themselves

As the remaining cop cars exploded, Koji took the opportunity to escape. He ran and dove into off the pier, sending a cloud of steam up where he hit. As soon as he was in the water he let his powers recede, and the chill water quickly make him cold. He resurfaced about twenty yards from the pier and shook his head at the burning mess. He had no doubtedly created quite a stir. Soon sketch artists would compile a general idea of what he looked like and quiet inquiries would begin as to who he was. Koji sighed and started swimming towards an inlet in the jungle, probably a stream. Civilization would be the easiest place for him to blend in, but now it would also be the most dangerous area for him.

A glimmer of hope was far away on that fine day. Not much was left of the once so determined fighter. Just the cold and frail body. The leaves rustled softly, almost like a sad call. A silent sigh of a sleeping guard, somewhere far off. A little butterfly fluttered it's bright blue wings and settled on a flower in the sun. It spread it's wings and sat very very still.

Mokthol continued to walk in the forest, hoping Kiba would turn up any time. He finally decided that Kiba was not anywhere near him. He ran back to where the soldiers were, and began to look for one that was alone. After a few minutes of looking around, he saw one. The soldier had gone to take a look in the cave which Mokthol had been in.
Mokthol took his time, slowing comming up behind the soldier, waiting until he was close enough. He taped on the soldiers shoulder, making him turn around, only to be met by Mokthols fist. The soldier was thrown to the wall, his gun knocked out of his hand. Mokthol came up and forced him hard against the wall. "Where is Kiba?" he demanded, holding the soldier by the neck. The soldier didn't speak. Mokthols eyes began to glow bright gold and white, and soon were so bright, no detail could be seen in his eyes. The soldier was in shock now, but still didn't speak.
Before Mokthol could realize what was going on around him, more soldiers began to surround him at a distance.

Without her realizing it, the pirates had nearly entranced Sabine. Something about them had brought up old instincts, some type of collective memory... She stood watching in the directin they'd come from long after they were gone. Somehow she felt... she wasn't what she was meant to be.
But M's call snapped her out of her reverie, and she went to him quickly. She was confused by what had come over her, and she wanted to get away from it - anything to distract her from those feelings, those instincts, those desires she didn't understand. Soon she was walking alongside of M, and his presence gave her some comfort - but she couldn't help glancing out at the ocean every now and again.

Violet had heard some sort of insanity occur, and with nothing else to do and with no eyes on her, she jumped from the ground and snapped out her wings. With a strong downstroke, she was up and away into the air. Something blurred her eyes and burned at her lungs, the smoke from the burning cars becoming more and more obvious as she flew by. "What the..." Appearantly something strange occured her, for the people who resided as mere humans seemed to cheerful to have created such a mess. Her eyes gave a look arround the scrambling cops. Eventually, a few good solid meters away, she saw two people walking casually walking down the beach. "Time to investigate..." With a swift of her wings, her light frame began coasting down towards the ground. Her feet touched ground not far behind the two walkers. Not sure of whether to call out or catch up, she best found it to use her voice. What better way to become more social. "Hey! You two, what happened?"
