♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪ "You have done research little lady. I understand that you know the truth, but how is it possible? I have a clouded mind, even the oracle can't see that. It was a gift from my mother in fact. I am unreadable. As a cambion I am not a man that you can understand oracle, but one thing you should know is I want a wish. Grant it for me." His gaze went to her body, and back to her face. "Give me my wish." A smile, as he realized what he had sounded like. "I wish to control the dark element, and also. . .I want you to teach me how to be an oracle like yourself. It would be a great ability to know."
He was calmly thinking to himself, the hell it would be to have her skills was unconquerable, and worse over, if he were to ever have her skill of knowledge he would falter and break. With a smile on his lips, he let his nose fall to the ground, and spoke in a soft whisper. "There are people here you know. . . we should really talk elsewhere. The Rebele won't be too happy with me gone for so long. . . and we need that information. Sorry to hastle you Mercedes. . .but it must be done. Follow me if you will." his gaze returned to that of a horny school girl as he drooled over her unimpressive body.
"Finally you came to your senses! Come! I have a room just for the two of us." His gentle regale purple eyes fluttered to a wink, as the air grew cold in anticipation of what was to come. With each footstep towards the secret location, Ruo's heart was beating faster. He didn't want to hear what she had to say. He didn't want to hear anything at all. ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪

"Fools seek what they cannot ever understand," Mercedes echoed darkly as she turned back, her silver gaze a cutting slash as they came to rest on Ruo. She regarded him for a time, barely listening to his, supposedly, sweet blather, deciding it would be more entertaining to follow the chattering Cambion then continue with her drifting. Wings rustling as she reset them tightly against her back, a blurb of short dialogue couldn't help escaping her quirked mouth. "Wishes are wishes, I do not grant unless I see it to be fit, and I do not teach my craft. No exceptions. If you intend to have your little group hassle me, the be warned that I will have myself killed rather then divulge any secrets you might try to pry from me.

"Pry no further, for I have information for you. . ." Ruo's attitude shifted, as he continued to walk, a drop of sweat forming over his brow. The long black hair fell over his shoulders, as he slumped his head for a moment. Swallowing his fear, he beckoned to her. "Follow me for just a bit longer, we need to be alone for this."
Entering into a small room, he pulled something out of his pocket. "Do you recognize the handwriting? This is from a man named Teran Ferox. The previous oracle sealed them away, so that they would live. So that everyone would live. I need you to give her back Mercedes. What does the name Byakuren mean to you? Because she. . .she is the reason you live." Ruo's body began to shake as he tried to speak. He couldn't say a word, but he knew she would understand what that meant.
"If. . .I bring you back to the Rebele. . . you will. . ." Smashing his fist against the wall, it cracked slightly as he rose his voice. "You will die!" Turning from her view he felt soft hearted.

Eyes flickering about the small space she was in, Mercedes blinked passively even after Ruo made the wall a close personal friend with his fist. “I recognize it all,” she conceded softly, the frigid tone she’d used prior evaporating to something more fitting a girl just barely past puberty. Her bare feet glided silently over the stone floor, ending her movement with a light hand just over Ruo’s own. “I have known, since my life was interrupted by these thoughts, images…that I am not my own person. I know my life must be given back, and that I was never to be a lasting fixture within this world.” Gently, she dislodged his hand from the wall, covering his digits with her other hand and squeezed lightly.
“We are all destined for death, even those claiming to be endless,” a soft, but genuinely kind smile split her cold face, “and I am not endless nor do I have illusions of grandeur beyond exchanging my existence for one that is far more needed in this plain of existence. If you would so kindly, return me to the Rebele.” Withdrawing on hand, she let his fingers entangle lightly with his own, but the soft girl disappeared, covered by a reserve and understanding that would soon disappear.

Fleischer stumbled out of the tavern/bar with the reptilian monster in his hold. The thing was quiet heavy but still manageable by the doctor. He walked with it for a while until he found a nice little table, as if it was meant for him to experiment on, and slowly edged the corpus on to the table. After the first few tries he was wanting to give up and just cut the damn the open on the ground, but eventually made it stay up. "Goot, now vor zee vun part!" said Feischer as he pulled out his trusty bone saw and scalpel. But in doing so, he realized his stupidity, it WAS already cut open in several places. Hearts, guts, livers, other unknown parts that he had never seen before, it was like X-mas for scientific discovery!
After about an hour or so of digging through blood, guts, and gore, Fleischer had filled his need to 'discover'. "Lets zee now..." said Fleischer looking at what had come out of the thing, " Two zeperate hearts, that vould explain its quick retaliation that I saw. Double, overlapping lungs. Und this!" he held up an oddly placed round organ. It had 6 separate, wide, valve like openings, and looked somewhat like a heart. It was probably the start player among the regular organs. "Hmmm... I zhink this ist a keeper." Fleischer produced a leather sack he carried for odd jobs, this being one.
After decreasingly dropping the corpus into the sewer, Fleischer turned back and headed to the bar. "Oh.. Fleischer stopped when he heard the noise, an all too familiar one at that, pain. Fleischer followed the sound to a close ally way, and sure enough there was a small blood puddle and a man to go with it. Fleischer swore an oath, he remembered every time there was pain of the living. Fleischer rushed over and asked the man if he could hear him. The man was in his later 70s, there was a deep stab wound close to the stomach, and without care to it death would surely follow. Working his hands quickly, Fleischer stitched up the wound and bandaged the wound to stop any further excretion of blood. Fleischer then picked up the old man with careful consideration and headed back to The Monkey's Paw tavern and inn.

The sky was dark as Naru, followed closely by Zero, made their way into the city. though whether the darkness was caused by Naru's presence, or if it just happened to be getting late, was anyone's guess. Zero had learned a lot from Naru, in the ways of controlling his powers and how best to use them in various combat situations. In return, Zero had told Naru how exactly his powers worked, since Naru had never fully understood how light could be of much use in a fight. And yet, now they both had a basic grasp on the others powers. Granted, Naru was much more proficient in his art than Zero was, but that was to be expected. And, if nothing else, Zero had raw potential and capacity to learn, something that rivaled even the most dedicated of Naru's former students. That didnt mean the two would be friends. Just that Naru had found a most worthy apprentice, and that Zero had found one hell of a master. And neither minded the very dark ambitions that they both shared. It had been decided that it was still too soon for Naru to begin spreading word of his return; He wanted a chance to catch up on the world he had been gone from. And so, they went to the tavern.

Itazuki stood at the door of a thin tall building. The Building was weathered down by the many years of violent winds and other dangerous elements that plague this city. Most of the windows were bordered up and as he turned the rusty handle it fell off but the door slowly opened by itself. There was a long corridor. A single dim light that gave the passageway a few specks of light but this place was full of shadows. He stepped in and the door was shut by a brief mysterious gust of wind. Itazuki inhaled the sulfuric smell that permeated this place, he cringed his face then he looked through the black and saw a flight of stairs.
As Itazuki came to the end of the stairs, the hallway split in two directions. Left and right, he went left. The right was never chosen in the paths he made. He reached the end fairly quickly and the opened the plain door. The paint already chipping away and the wood beginning to swell with water. He pushed it open and it fell from its hinges.
In this room, there was a single window, with three boards going across it but there was a small gap leaving a ray of sunlight to shine through it. The ray spanned down the middle of the room, it cut through the darkness. Itazuki didn't fear the darkness, where he had been, there was nothing and nothing mattered. He knew darkness and that was what he was limited to. "Why did I feel like I had to come here." He pulled out his sword and with a single thrust, he drove it into the wooden floor.
The eye on the blade opened and stared into Itazuki and beyond. A voice spoke in the back of Itazuki mind. The voice seemed to be tickling the back of his brain, the sensation was strange and alluring but the only thing he could possibly do was to listen.
"Boy. Look through the window." Itazuki proceeded to do so and as he searched around he saw a familiar, walnut flying and causing pointless havoc in the streets. Itazuki teeth gritted as he uttered. "Fate..." His eyes ceased up with hatred then a sudden burst of dark matter demolished the building and leaving a giant hole in it. He looked at the nut and shouted out. "FATE!!!!!!!!" Itazuki grabbed his sword and jumped on the closet rooftop then sprint ten yards then jumped to another building and quickly jumped up to the walnut of fate and swung his sword, with death behind the thrust.
Fate heard the familiar voice of so called chosen guardian. But he referred to him merely as his escort. Fate spun his tiny body around to dodge the attack and looked at Itazuki with utter disgust. "What do you think you are doing, attacking me. I brought you into this world and I can take you out."
Itazuki flipped himself forward after his attack failed and clung to the window sill and positioned himself correctly. "You know your right, Fate. Its just, that I've been gone so long, and things have changed and well I was mad."
"Itazuki, There are no mistakes." Fate's face was sincere when he spoke, full of sweet nutty compassion. "It's just your a failure and have to learn and except your not as good as me. Now I'll forgive you if you bow down and give an act of worship to me." He raised one brow.
Itazuki scampered up the wall, hopping and using his water talons for better grip. He reached the roof and looked down at the walnut who had such a god complex. "No." He uttered. There conversation ended, but with such swiftness, Itazuki managed to open a portal in front of Fate and trapping him in the other world.
