Erik looked from behind the gryphon, staring curiously. He said, "I don't think there's anybody in there at the moment..."

Twilight stepped out of the Shadows and into the clearing by the bank. he kept his hands in his Coat pockets, and his features were blurred by the Spell he had cast. that allowed him some time to alter his features to look feline, adding fur and changing his Elf-ears into Panther-ears.

by the time he was fully visible, he looked like a Black Panther Anthro. he played with the Black Rosary Beads he wore on one hand.

"he's quite curious, that one." he said, nodding in Miles direction.

Miles took a step back, there was something strange about the panther, something that felt, unatural, "Who are you...WHAT are you?"  

[Chieftain Twilight]

Twi stood perfectly still, and looked stoically back at Miles with a soft gaze.

"I can't seem to hide from anyone around here. your senses are all very keen, and that's not saying alot. many alert folks have been baffled by my tricks." he said.

after a pause, he then sighed, hanging his arms at his sides. he looked up again, his face more stern.

"I'm not Alive. neither am I Dead. but I am a Shaman, one with Nature. you needn't fear me." he assured.

Miles blinked, "A sha-man?....What's a sha-man?"

"Shamans are Priests of a sort." Twi explained. "they Commune with the Spirit, and thereby perform Magic in association with those Spirits."

Asiril sighed, he had slipped off again to his solitude of the pool again, staring into the water debating with himself. His ears perked and alert for the slightest sound from Larka or the others, letting out a soft sigh he searched his thoughts for the hundreth time of his bout with the Fury. Mumbling to himself, "there..must be something.."
