Shadows swelled and merged, darkening to the pure black of the nothingness between stars. Then those shadows leaped up in the center, twisting like ethereal vines. Red bubbled up from the earth and threaded up those 'vines' in oddly runic patterns, as if the ground was bleeding. The red pulsed as if echoing a heartbeat and the shadows swirled into a vortex, reaching toward the clouds before suddenly collapsing upon themselves. They splashed like water over the shape of a woman shrouded in that black, hood hiding those features, though a select few would recognize the silver pendant hanging from her neck.
With a faint giggle, she lifted her arms to catch raindrops in her palms. "Rain . . . we missed the rain . . . there's no rain in nothingness." She tilted her head back and pushed the hood away, snow white hair luminous against the black. "Wet and cold but real, we feel. Real again. We live."
The woman laughed and twirled once -- twice. Then, as if realizing she had an audience, she stopped and blinked her brilliantly turquoise eyes almost owlishly at those around her. One in particular caught her eye -- Aki -- and she cocked her head at the woman, eyebrows furrowing slightly as if trying to remember something. "Pink . . . pink!" With a gasp of recognition and a gleeful laugh, she bounced forward as if to hug the once-pink-haired woman. "Aki-chan!"

What the hell was this? Some sort of reunion? A strong sense of annoyance began to crawl up her spine, penetrating every nerve in her body. She wanted to walk away and find him on her own; she didn't have time for this. She had two children waiting for her at home, a third on the way already. The more she thought about the third, the less annoyed she became. The less annoyed she became, the more afraid she was about having it. She didn't want it.. but it wasn't completely in her jurisdiction. She sneezed, covering mouth with the back of her sleeve as the vibration held her at a daze. The heavy rain poured down on her, feeling her hair get heavier and heavier with each passing minute and on top of that, she was catching a cold. Her annoyance grew a bit more, setting aside her own differences just for a brief moment as they became more and more engaged in their conversations. Her shoulders tensed and she bit the insides of her mouth, holding in the anger, knowing she was far too in foreign territory to react negatively. She tilted her head down a little, closing her eyes while regaining her patience and self control. The rain were weights on her body, her clothing, sticking to her bare skin underneath. She didn't hate it. She embraced it. The wet rain was sort of relaxing, almost therapeutic. Her lips became a light shade of pink, a common body indicator that the temperature was far too cold for her own good. Like she gave a damn. She let out a sigh, allowing a thick white cloud to take form as she spoke, "I'm not in any position to waste time, please. Is there any way we can speed this up?"

Lars scratched the back his head, Akane was being pretty disrespectful, just because she needed to see Kleine, didn't mean that she had to be completely impatient about it. That would equal to problems. Lars placed his gentle hands against Akane's shoulders, she needed to remain calm and be patient...it would be of no use to get all worked up, "settle down, being impatient won't bring Kleine any closer to coming back here, let alone any faster, maybe we should go inside and wait for him until he comes back. Staying out here would be bad for you...I'm starting to see it." He said with a calm nod, he then looked to everyone else, including Rini, "if you'd like to come as well, then by all means."

She and Aki were apparently quite close, though. "Come, friends of... I guess you could say Akatsuki. I don't know. Let's go somewhere for you to all relax. I'm sure the journey here was long." He walked towards the gates as they opened up and he entered the village. As he moved forward, though, a message was conveyed through his ring. Lars would hear it, too. "Uh... sorry, friends. But Lars and I have... business to attend to." He skipped over all of the others and hugged Aki, holding it for a few seconds. "Sorry for the inconveniance. Lars, let us go." He turned to a dragon and headed to the base.
