Karaneshii ^The Obscured Clan^

The creature once returned to being a cute little creature with a puffy bunny like tail, a pair of bunny ears, cat ears and mouse ears, with fluffy soft hair and soft little paws...with no sign of aggression at all. It kept it's mouth lined with ragged sharp teeth shut.

"It's not a mouse, it's a horrible monster! See it..."

The animal just blinks cutely and sneezes.

"It's a killer! I swear!"

Jade stands outside of the house, looking up at it while listening to Forsaken

"Bzzzt! Wrong!" A mechanical voice suddenly cried out after Jack submitted his guess. 'The correct answer is Number Three: the larch. The. Larch."

A trap door opened above Jack and dropped a metal bucket on his head. Soon after, the hand with the Piko Hammer popped out again and hit the bucket three times.

Dang console, I'm going to destroy it if it does that again. Jack thinks taking the bucket off his head and throwing it away. "This had better do something other than get me hit on the head again or else." Jack yells at the console pushing a rather large purple button.

Caly turned the moment someone had come up the stairs and smiled when she found that it was Vincent. "The floor is fine now, at least so far for the corridors. The rooms will be a little tricky until I can personally see to them." she said as she watched him walk up to her. Then she glanced back into the room and said, "Look at this room. It is completely untouched by age. It's as if the room somehow escaped time from the rest of the house." she waved her free hand at it, trying not to jostle Poison in her arms. The palnt wouldn't like that one little bit.

Vincent turned to the room. His hand on the door way he peeked into the room his Sapphire hair falling over his shoulders.

"Interesting.... Any guesses as to why that is?"

Vincent said looking back at Caly. His mask still hiding his face.

Caly glanced at the two men and then back at the room before shaking her head. "No, I haven't the foggiest idea as to why this could be. Either way, a great deal of magic went into this and I don't think any of us should mess with it. The room could be here for a reason...not something I want to find out why the hard way." she winced slightly at some of the thoughts that came to mind.

One could never know if this was some kind of trap to be triggered by just the right touch of any kind. Or it could just be waiting for the master of the house or magic to come back to claim what was theirs. All she knew was that they should probably leave the room alone for now; get the rest of the house in some order before venturing more guesses.

Vincent was all for finding things out the hard way. It was pretty much the only way he learned. He turned back to Caly a bit of mischeif coming to his face. Yet his mask hid his expression. He felt mischeivious yet he shouldnt have. His mask was meant to keep his darker side at bay. Was the masks effectivness wearing off after all these years?

Caly took a couple of steps backwards away from the room, as her gaze went to the sapphire-haired one. She knew something crossed his mind and she wasn't sure she wanted to know, but she didn't want anything happening to anyone. It was a little odd that she was rapidly growing attached to the people here, but it was something she couldn't stop; it was in her nature.

"Please Vincent. Don't do anything stupid. You won't want Alex to be sad now would you?" she asked pointedly. She was oblivious for the most part, but she wasn't that oblivious to everything around her.

Vincent shook his head as if he was snapping out of a daydream. He back to the room and then to Caly. Her words had called him back to his senses.

"Youre right.. Lets check the roof and see whats up there. Plus that race should be opening soon, if it isnt already."

He looked around tryign to find the stairs that lead to the rooftop.

She smiled warmly at him and then nodded, gracefully and silently walking down the corridor once more, peering into each room seh passed, opening doors (or letting them fall to pieces under her hands when she tried to push at them) if they had been closed. So far all she found were deserted and decayed rooms. No sign of a door which led to the roof. As she walked the flooring beneath each step began to firm adn restore to its former glory, but for now the restorative energies stopped at the threshold of each doorway. The rooms she would get to once the roof was looked at.

"Coming Vincent? Or are you going to look down the other way?" she asked softly over her shoulder, knowing that her voice would still carry to the demon she had left behind.

Vincent put his hands in his pockets and headed after Caly. He watched the floor changed and become restored as she walked. He shook his head and sighed. Half wishing his blood wasnt so cursed, all that seemed to follow him was destruction and death.

Malem decides to follow Cadwallander down the passage behind the shelf.

The little critter bounded out of Vincent's arms and follows Malem, but at a distance.

Every time she looks back, the critter stops, and scratches itself or washes it's paws, or rubs onse of it's six ears against a wall.
