My parents told my aunt I'm transgender and her legitimate response was, "I'm not the least bit surprised." She even knows some genderqueer people that she hooked me up with to talk to if I ever need advice, someone to understand, etc.! biggrin

So I have these very large oak trees in my back yard, and every spring/summer they drop their seeds and small saplings grow in the grass. Like... hundreds of saplings. And I figured that they don't deserve to be mowed over, and we could use some new trees since the ones we have are over 50 years old and are falling apart by the day. So I took a bucket and filled it with dirt, dug up 2 saplings, and transplanted them! The one sapling I'm pretty sure will die (it didn't take well to being transplanted), but the other one is growing stronger and has a new sprout coming along!! biggrin
So far the saplings are just thin stalks that are still green, though the one is turning brown a little and will soon obtain the texture of wood. The branches and leaves are even thinner than the stalks, but soon I'll need to get a stick to support them or they'll fall over. By next spring I'm pretty sure the saplings will be big enough to plant back into the ground, but I have never grown a tree from something so small and I'm not quite sure when a good time to place it in a permanent home would be. I'll probably keep them in a greenhouse over the winter and fall, too.
If I find some more saplings in the yard (my brother just mowed, so I will have to wait for more to grow), I'm going to try rescuing them and growing them. Ironically enough... I'm supremely highly allergic to oak tree pollen... sweatdrop

I rescued 2 more saplings today and placed them in separate pots. I think my problem was that the pots are too small for 2 saplings to be so close. So now I have 3 trees all in separate pots, and the first is still going strong! biggrin It's getting taller and its leaves look oddly smaller because of it lol, but because of that it's growing some branches now!
One of the 2 I rescued today already had a thin wooden branch growing on it when I transplanted it, but it broke off in the process. I hope it will be alright since I only got part of the main root, but since mostly all of it still remains I'm sure it will take! And, as always, I mixed in a ton of the original soil before and after transplanting it, then watered it and the other new sapling. This is so cool and I'm really happy to grow baby plants!! biggrin
Dude my sister is the greatest person ever. I was highly depressed because I got hit with the monthly monster (my period), and I nearly cried and just couldn't handle it. So she took me out and bought me 4 large boxes of my favorite candy, and a bag of gourmet chocolates. I already finished 1 box and feel sick to my stomach but it's damn worth it! sweatdrop

I'm writing a short story where Angus makes a ton of pages over a period of months to try finding everyone but to no avail, and one of his friends' spirits returns to Angus's dimension just for a moment causing a deadly earthquake in the process. But he arranges the papers to form the map and escapes just before the earthquake can destroy more than necessary. When Angus sees the map he realizes that all of his friends' souls are trapped in an empty dimension at the end of the universe, and he needs to travel there alone to rescue them.

Yep! biggrin It makes me happy to be active in this guild, and Gaia just has a lot of fun stuff I can do when I'm bored (Lake Kindred, zOMG, Puzzles, etc.). Plus if I come on every day to vote in runway then I get LK packs that are worth like 10bil lol. razz
