*stands up slowly pain obviously still on his body*
"I doth apologize then loosing someone you cared or still care about can be rough. I can't remember the last girl I had. "
*thinks for a moment*
"Okay I can but that ended in a manner unspeakable therefore I choose not to remember. I have been single for too long now. I blame the marine corps."

Is it true that gay people get discharged from the army? o.o if it is, then that means i don't have to join the army! 8D

Heh. I know I'll never be able to join the military, even though I sorely want to. I'd be Section 8'd inside of a week.

Depends what country you live in. Although I'm not completely sure if it's still in place, the US military used to have a policy called "Don't ask don't tell" that said you could be in the military if you were gay, as long as you didn't tell anyone you were.

Lord I hope they don't reinstate the draft.
Anyways, I don't really keep up on politics and stuff, but I believe Obama was trying to abolish that law and just let gay people into the military. Whether he actually did it yet or not is unknown to me, so they still might discharge you in the States or they might not. You'd have to look it up.

Obama is attempting to kill the don't ask don't tell policy.
Not to mention if one was gay why join the military. The chances of finding someone like minded is very very slim. I don't know about the army it's possible considering the army will even enlist 250lb people who can barely walk on their own. If you want in as a homosexual I would sudgest the navy. The marine corps has zero tolerance for mucxh of anything. The navy doesn't accept it as long as you don't get caught. The air force... I know like nothing of them.

So he hasn't done it yet then? Alright.
And that's illegal, Estu, lol! 'Sides, even if they draft you that doesn't mean you're going to be in active fighting. After saying that though, I'd probably hop the border too, lol.
