Raven followed Beast Boy's gaze out the window and nodded her head. "Yeah, it is. Still, I suppose we'll have to wait to see if the day actually turns out good. Knowing our luck, something bad will happen." Raven said, unable to keep the negativity from her voice.

Beastboy pulled Raven close and said,"Come on, what's the worst that could happen."

Raven closed her eyes, possibilities flying through her mind. "Do you want a list?" She asked, her voice slightly sarcastic. In a regular tone, she added. "Nothing too bad, but there are still villians from the future out there."

Beastboy smiled and said,"Don't worry I'll protect you."

Raven smiled a bit. "I don't need protection, but thanks anyway. I'll watch out for you too."

Beastboy looked at Raven and said,"thanks but i can take care of myself."

Raven shook her head. "Everyone needs someone to take care of them." She said, not really thinking before the words came out of her mouth.

Beastboy hugged Raven and said,"Ok then I'll look after you and you can look after me, deal."

Raven smiled and wrapped her arms around him. "Deal." She said before kissing him lightly.

Beastboy smiled and kissed Raven back.

When the urgent need for air came, Raven pulled away from Beast Boy. She took a few breaths. "You know you aren't that bad of a kisser." She said with a smile.

Beastboy smiled and said,"You're not so bad yourself."

Raven smiled at the compliment. "So, how was your rest? Had any dreams?"

Beastboy sighed and said,"I had one of those weird falling dreams."

Raven nodded her head, knowing the type of dream Beast Boy spoke of. "Those are strange... They make me feel useless whenever I have one."
