Kai laughed. "They're not that easy to insult... They're actually kind of expecting it." he added softly, kissing Saiya's neck. "The Council still retains an old view of humanity, so the fact that they're trying to destroy Supernaturals should be an easy sell."

He wrapped his arms around her in a hug. "I know... But maybe our cultures tried too much too quickly." he commented quietly, kissing her neck again. "Both of us were so eager to be able to mingle without constraints or hiding."

Kai smiled softly at her. "You say that, yet even with in your own species their is war. So why is it so different while dealing with not one but hundreds of new beings you did not know were anything more then a bed time story?" he asked, hugging her as he laid his head back on Saiya's shoulder. "But I have to admit the best thing that's happened to me is thanks to the combining of worlds."

He leaned back with a sigh, his legs still wrapped around Saiya. "Would you like to start with question or just from the beginning?" Kai asked, looking up at Saiya as he raised a hand to run it through her hair. "I told you I wasn't going to keep anything else from you." he reminded her softly.

"I use to work for them" Kai stated quietly, his fingers twining through her hair. "I was young and my family had been run out of a town still bent on staying in an age without Supernaturals... They approached me with an offer. Said that I would be helping to make sure others like us wouldn't have to be treated like some kind of lesser creation." he stated, a bit of anger sinking into his voice.

Kai bent down to kiss the top of Saiya's head. "I know..." he said, playing with her hair as he leaned back again. "First it was missions that only involved recon. We'd follow a human we were assigned, take pictures, videos, bugged their lines, gathered any dirt we could on them. Then we'd turn it all in and start again on another target... It felt good." he admitted sadly. "Surrounded by other Supernaturals who had been abused and rejected by humanity like me, we were doing something about it. One of the targets I followed ended up being forced to pass a law protecting Supernaturals that chose to enter the human world... It helped that we had blackmail."

"They saw an eager young fighter of the cause, and the decided to take advantage of that." he continued softly. "I started receiving more... intense missions." Kai admitted. "Extortion, kidnapping... Each mission just seemed to lead into more and more dangerous things."

Kai rubbed a hand up and down Saiya's back, grateful she was here. "I was their perfect little solider. I did what I was told... And I even enjoyed it." he stated bitterly. "So they decided I was ready for a mission the Council had decided was imperative to our survival. They sold the target as a guy whose sole purpose was to destroy us, had marked the target for termination for the good of all Supernaturals... And they had decided to bestowed the honor of taking this person out, to me."
