Donovan blinked in surprise then let out a deep, hearty laugh. "My, aren't we defensive?" he teased. He grinned, chuckling quietly to himself. Oh, this was going to be fun. He was certainly going to enjoy pushing the buttons of his new sister-in-law.

Elizabeth glared silently at him for a moment. "You better watch your mouth before it gets your head stuck in more crap then you can get yourself out of." she said in humor and posion on the edge of her words.

Donovan smirked. "Is that a challenge, me dear? Trust me, I can take care of myself." He certainly could. He could take care of himself, and everyone else as well. He simply didn't want to take care of anyone else. They didn't really matter to him.

Elizabeth snorted. She had it with his stuck up self. She shoved him away and turned swiftly and made her way off the dance floor and out of the room. She wished he would just fall over cold.

Donovan stepped back in order to keep his balance, watching with a chuckle as she stormed out of the room. Once the dance was over, Theo came over to him. "What did you do?" he demanded.
Donovan looked at him with an expression of pure innocence. "I didn't do anything," he said.
Theo snorted in disbelief and followed after his wife.

Elizabeth found herself in a unknown hall. She looked to her left then right, but there was nothing she took notice that she knew of, just more halls and doors. She took a deep breath and leaned against a wall. She really needed to cool down, but it was hard eith Donovan's smirk playing over and over in her mind.

Theo easily followed Elizabeth's scent trail, following it through the maze of halls. It took him a few minutes to find her. Turning the corner, he walked up to her. He didn't say anything right away, just standing beside her in silence. If she wanted to talk to him, she could.

Elizabeth glanced over when she heard footsteps coming to notice it was simply Theo. She turned her vision back to the wall, focusing all her anger at it. "Your brother is really pushing my buttons." she said after a few moments of silence between them. She bowed her head as she continued. "Do you think I have a big butt and a small chest?" she asked in a low voice. Embarrassed that she was even bothered by Donovan's words from before.

Theo stood by her side, listening to her speak. A small smile crept up on his features. His arms slid around her waist, pulling her to him. "Of course not," he told her. "Your butt and chest are the perfect size. He's just teasing you."

Elizabeth couldn't help but smile. "I know, I know." she said as she nuzzled her face against his shoulder. Donovan somehow knew how to get in her skin, and it really bothered her more then she thought it would.

Theo smiled and kissed the top of her head. "Come on. How about we go back to the reception? I'll tell Donovan to back off," he told her. He suddenly smirked. "Or, of course, we could always go back to the bedroom."

Elizabeth looked up at him and grinned. "The bedroom sounds like a much nicer place to go." she said happily. She slipped out of Theo's arms and she began running down one of the many halls before a thought raced across her mind. She stopped and turned toward the end of the hall and yelled out to Theo, "Which way to the bedroom."

Theo blinked when Elizabeth suddenly slid out of his arms and took off running. It took him a few moments for his brain to start moving again but then he was off after her. "Right!" he called to her, catching up quickly. Of course, not as quickly as he could have.

Elizabeth smiled as he caught up with her. She did as instructed and headed right, running close to her full speed. Her chest rose and fell quickly as her heart began to pick up pace and her breathing became in short breaths.

Theo grinned and chased after her. His feet, though they landed heavily on the floor, made almost no sound. It was the predator in him coming out. His eyes locked on Elizabeth, speeding up. He let out a playful growl, catching up to her just as they reached the bedroom door.
