Onyx exhaled, the sound similar to faint growls. He could feel faint amusement running through him from the demon within. You got balls, kit, the demon growled in his mind after a moment.

"Ya! Keep away from the king!" One of the soldiers growled. "Ok, look. My temper is going to lose control if you bug me anymore. So just let me talk to him, ok?" Acos said.

elaise looked on slightly amused, " i think we should all go over and talk to him, it might make him willing to tell us what we need to know." she said to onyx smiling slightly " me and you did just put out the fires after all."

"What do you know of the spark stone? We need it to protect what is and what will be," Onyx said dryly, barely glancing at the soldiers. Even when one prodded his armor with the spear he didn't react. "Try that again, and it will be snapped off before it touches me," he said quietly.

"I'll tell you what I know. I had the spark stone this morning. No one but me entered the sacred room since. And now the spark stone is gone." the king told them.

elaise stepped forward as well. " you know we mean your people no harm, we need your help. we need to stone to get to the person it's chose for, before the demon king can gain control of it." she said her hair billowing out behind her as she spoke, her light blue eyes seemed to be lighter than they were earlier. one of the warriors stepped towards her and she looked at him, before looking back at the king.

"If he gains the stone before we do; something will happen to your people and many others who know nothing of this. We need to know where it is and what element is held within," he said quietly.

"Come with me. I will take you to where the spark stone was." the king said. Acos shrugged and followed the king as he led them to a temple.

Onyx moved with a fluid, almost inhuman grace, the mark of a master swordsman. Roarke moved after them, half loping, half running.

elaise followed behind them quickly her eyes on the soldiers that surrounded them as they walked. seeing one of the soldeirs move closer to onyx she frowned slightly coming up behind him. " i wouldn't try anything." she said softly before moving in front and walking a short distance from the others.

"Looks like the cat's out of the bag this time."Eiji waves his heads causing a gust to blow out the fires. He then notices that guardians were following the king. He then runs to catch up with them. As he runs toward them the guards turn abruptly with spears pointed toward him ~OLANI IOLCI NIDALI CIAOFI~ The soldiers lower their spears as if entranced and he walks past with the the grace of an angel.

The Mayan King explains to the guardians what he had done. He tells them about asking the Healer to help his daughter Princess Ixchel escape with the stone and take it to it's rightful owner. He tells them how he was stalling to give her a head start by prolonging the ballgame. And he apologized for using them. He tells them that his daughter is heading for the orient to find the guardian.
Tarik returns to his boat and gets ready to sail in pursuit of the stone.

"Does she have the talent of dreamwalking? If so, I can contact her that way and reveal help will be on the way," Onyx said. If she does, we will have to travel through Tel'aran'rhoid to get to or ahead of her; it is dangerous, but I know Tel'aran'rhoid as well as I do myself, he thought, well aware they could hear him. Roarke kept his hand clenched the whole time, remaining silent and thoughtful.

elaise heard onyx's thought and nodded,remaining silent. she looked around her at the viallagers and shivered slightly when she saw that some of them were covered in cuts and burns, she looked away quickly angry attarik fro what he'd done to them.
