Kaishin laughed and pulled his paw back before she could bite it. "So I could use Larka as a spare battery if I wanted?" he pondered on it for a moment. He knew it would not be possible however, the tatoos that were etched onto his body that allowed him to use magic were incomplete. The human shaman that experimented on him as a pup hadn't completed the ritual, thus leaving the magiks unstable and it caused him pain everytime he used them. He still had some feral magic that came to him naturally though.

He listened to Larka's concerns about someone else using her power without permission. "It can take a while to establish a link in order to do something like that" he explained. "Once we have some free time though, I can teach you how to repel someone who is trying to tap your power".

Twi gazed stoically at Eyea as well.

"yes, Shamanism can be dangerous. but so too can other forms of Sorcery. I personally find other Magic distasteful." he said.

he flicked his head to toss his hair back.

"while we have that settled, let us move on." he looked at Miles' arm again. "as I said before, I am quite intrigued by the boy's markings. that is very Ancient in origin, if my guess is correct. perhaps my Luck isn't so rotten after all."

Twi was thinking about the possibilities. he may have stumbled upon something new to add to his own repetoir, or leastways his collection of findings. if only he had materials to copy the markings down...

"might I observe your Student's training? I want to see how this unfolds...." he asked the Owl.

((I'm back... And so is that damn headache.))

Marco had become restless and awoke. He groaned and sat up. As thankful as he was for being allowed to stay in the Den, he preferred sleeping under the stars. He silently stepped through the den, over hearing bits of the others conversation as he went. Marco sighed and looked up at the sky when he stepped outside, he sank his claws into the dirt enjoying the night air. He grinned and walked a little farther away from the Den, to the tree where Reaper slept. He sat under the tree and stared up at the sky.

Eyea watched Twilight. "By all means be my guest. But we only have one element left to learn. Can you guess what it is miles?" He waited for an answer.

Leren Had fallen asleep under a tree near the den. He had not smelled them just yet. He had no thoughts as he slept and no feelings. Just sleep.

"It's fire right?"

Hughy finished eating the meat and yawned. The tiny pup sniffed around the den until he noticed an umfamilar smell. Hughy barked a couple of times and smelled the ground following the scent until he found a sleeping timber wolf nearby, Hughy licked it's muzzle and playfully nipped at it.

Eyea Looked at miles. "Correct." Eyea flew into the trees and there was a snapping sound. He then flew back with a large branch. He stuck the broken end in the ground and used fire magic to alight it. "That should work."

Leren Woke to see the little pup hughy there. "Now where did you come from pup?" He said to him.

Nomaki touched her paw to the tree bark. The Buck definitely ran through here, but she was scenting others. Lots of Magick, a Bird, another damn canine, and something completely different.

Her feline curiosity told her to go towards the lake, but her survival instinct kept her far away. She didn't want to run into anyone or anything else tonight, and she'd make sure to keep herself out of trouble as much as possible.

She gave the lake and it's current inhabitants a large berth. Screw the Buck, she'd find something else to make a meal.

Vadi tugged at her ear, but she ignored him. She knew he was wary about the others as well, but she was doing her best to avoid them. She couldn't do anything else, so she grabbed the tiny Dragon and allowed him to wrap around her wrist again. Knuckle bites she could handle, but when he tugged on her ear, that just bugged the crap out of her.

(Sorry I didn't post last night....I was busy.)

"Kaishin speaks trrrrrue....whilst it is cerrrrtainly possible to use someone as a "batterrrry", so to speak, It is difficult, and easy to prrrrrevent.... Dont trrrrouble yourrrrself with it."

He trailed off as he noticed the new wolf, and curiously gazed at him; his nightsight was excellent, but a loss of color perception came with it. Regardless, by the dim light of the fire, he could make out the unusual and vivid coloring of the unknown Wolf.

-I didn't notice him at all.... which is unusual for me...I normally notice everything....-

He followed the wolf out into the night, and quietly laid down nearby, and grinned invisibly in the darkness as the wolf gazed up at the stars, waiting for the word that they were setting off to go meet with the Bears. He glanced upwards as well; a cloudless, clear night, and the unfamiliar constellations shone down on him.

He'd stargazed back home, as part of his studies into Magik and how the physical universe worked; only in the desert, the stars always shone at night, cold, hard, and crystal clear. He tried to find familiar star patterns, and failed. He then tried to find landmark stars he was familiar with, and was about to give up when he noticed the pair of triple red points of light, and smiled; the Triplets, as he knew them.

Even here, he could still find traces of home, apparently.

He heard something move in the tree above the Wolf, and sniffed; Bird-of-Prey. Interesting...

"I don't believe we've been intrrrroduced yet...I'm Bakherrrr.... what is yourrrrs.... and is that a frrrrriend of yourrrs up in the trrrrree?"

Marco frowned and looked at the Gryphon. With his dark colored fur Marco easily blended in during the night, but his eyes gave away his location. They seamed to shine in the dark, one an oddly calm electric blue, the other a violent blood red. Marco nodded in response. "I am Marco." He chuckled and glanced up at his friends poorly made nest. "That is Reaper... And yes I guess he is my friend... He can be a bit talkative at times, but he is quite wise, and is talented in scouting and stealth"

(the two differently colored eyes reminds me of the villiness Ysanee Isard (Iceheart was her nickname) from the Star wars series X-Wings...she too had one crimson, one blue eye as well...)

"Hurrrrrr...good to meet you."
He looked up into the tree, and could just make out the shape of the Bird-of-Prey Reaper. He glanced at Marco's mismatched eyes, and cocked his head curiously to the side.

"May I ask what happened to yourrrrr eyes? they seem....mismatched."

Miles stared at the kindling fire, then looked back up at Eyea, "so...What do I do?"

Hughy sat playfully wagging his, he let a out a bark then turned his head to the direction of the den.

Larka stood and stretched. Her ears rolled back and her tail swished as she scratched her claws against the rock. She straightened out and shook her head to work out her muscles.

She looked around and frowned. Bakher had gone off again. She continued to look and found him just outside talking to shadows. Shadows? She sniffed and found that it was the new wolf: Marco, his name was?

She pawed at Kaishin; she decided it was best not to put off the Bears any longer. "Are we ready now, Alpha?"
