Glit snorted, half crawled on the taller Crobat, idly twitching her tail as she viewed the room and the one across from it. Howlback, while bossy was also warm and above the cold water on the tech floor.

Howlback snickered, sending a burst of sound across the room, letting it ping and shift locations to her and paused, swiveling her head, detecting motion. She twitched her ears, gave a warning hiss, puffing herself up.

Glit questioned and slid off her nice warm post, casting Safe guard.

The combined force of the pokemon caused the various wrecked items to creak and groan at being shifted, and started to move just a little bit under their effort.

Boo took a quick look. Nothing... Nothing at all. All those pokemon out there pulling... for nothing. The ghost flittered into the legendary room and circled before heading back. He reappeared to see all the pokemon straining. He went to Kailee and shook his head.

Brim pulled when the others did.

Kailee had seen boo come out and she frowned looking to everyone else. "Stop! Dont waste your energy... Boo says there isnt anything back there...."

Char and Phaethon came to a halt with a sigh and a snort of disappointment respectively.

Char said as he started to burn through the webbing to free everyone, taking care not to scorch anyone as he did so and blowing out the flames once they had done their job before they could spread anywhere.

Aulus scowled at the wreckage as though it had personally insulted him, though really what had he expected? Of course they would have cleared something like that out. "Well if there's nothing beyond there we might as well go, if you don't think there was anything more we can do on the spot up in that computer room Hayes?" It hadn't sounded like it... but they might well send Alex back to try to hack into the systems. Great.

Tiamat frowned a bit at the news, but she looked to the other Pokemon and smiled. She added to Char's words, bowing her head in thanks and helped with the removing of the webbing.


Tama huffed as the Pokemon were freed from the harness after finding out there was nothing behind the barricade anyways. "So... what's left to do?"

Glit and Howlback

The panel disappeared into the control room as quickly as it had appeared. A moment later, a hand reached out from within and slapped indiscriminately at the wall until it hit the access panel, causing the bar of light to shift to red and the series of doors to slide shut.

Again, a task Ella set to perform did not go as intended, and despite it being, technically, a success, it was, apparently, a pointless victory... Which meant it didn't count.

The Lairon let out a long sigh, blowing bubbles into the water, as Char burned the harnesses.

"Well that's... Gah! Frelling Hell!" Tambrey swore angrily; apparently she'd really looked forward to finding something back there.
She looked apologetic at Ella and called her back. They'd both have a nice treat- probably tea and a cake- later to feel better about this.

[Room 1 - technobabbling]

Hayes gave Faleen a 'what are you gonna do' sort of smile and moved his shoulders in a shrug. Then, exhaling a puff of air, he looked to the hauling effort going on. At Aulus' hopeful query, he paused.

"Uhh. It's biometric authentication; those are tricky." The blond tech looked like he wanted to go into a deeper explanation of the particulars, but stopped himself. "Best way to hack those is to let a sniffer program monitor the network or just use social engineering, but we're too late for those options. Good news is account lockouts aren't forever - bad news is the lockout might be hours." He considered Char's tail flame. "If Char got his Chatot to run through all the phrases it knew in those two voices, maybe we could pick the likeliest one but.." He shook his head.

<********> Glit said and gave an unholy screeching noise to call everyone up from the basement to the immediate problem. "SEeeeeeeeeeeee".

Howlback scrambled hopped towards the door and used Acrobatics on the door, trying to bust it open.

"Glit, ********. Crazy Dave." Lex turned, and bolted up the stairs and towards his pokemon he left to guard the staircase entrance.

"That ******** was that?"

As Aulus asked the rhetorical question he was already half way up the stairs - well, the walls either side of the stairs - with his staff in hand and Tortie hot on his heels.

Kailee was seriously disappointed. Too bad. This was right up her alley and would have been a moment to seriously shine But there was nothing back there and she couldn't blame that on Boo.

She smiled. "Good job Boo" She Called brim back with a good job as well. She glanced to Ella and then Tambrey. "I will set up things to smash when we get back... just for her..."

She offered a hopeful smile and then there was a sound of doors closing and a scream. "What the...." She glanced to everyone and then frowned. "You all heard that right?!" Maybe this place was just driving her crazy...Nope Aulus heard it Too... She followed hot on their heels,(slowing for the steps xD).

Tama blinked at all the noise and seeing Aulus take off, didn't even bother recalling Quidal. In fact, he rushed off leaving the two fire types running after him, trailing behind.

"That doesn't sound good."

"Seeing as they took the hard drive and files. I suppose it might have been to much to expect them to leave anything else."

Well, there didn't seem like there was anything left to do in this room.
And the matter of trying to figure out how to override the control room was next, and it was, of course Hayes' specialty.
He went on to explain how one might go about hacking it, and though it was the kind of tech talk that she herself didn't understand... she had always enjoyed hearing Hayes' tech talk anyway.

"Maybe if the Chatot was ever in the room with his trainer. Though that would be a terrible security risk. worth asking the pokemon maybe." She offered, folding her hands behind her back as she started back to the stairs.

Very suddenly however, there was a crying of a Pokemon up in the lab, The Grunt Lex yelled something and bolted up the stairs.
Blinking in bewilderment, staring after the grunt for a couple of seconds before she moved to follow
"What is it?"

Well, everyone was going toward the high pitched noise that might have been something dying, so Tambrey followed after them, looking rather perturbed, after having just been nodded her thanks to Kailee, and about to comment further on the irritation of there being nothing beyond the barricade.

She climbed the stairs a lot more carefully than she'd come down them, though in a little more of a hurry.
