Little Necropolis ~The RP~

Chris was almost floating on teh soft energy in this place. She close dher eyes for a second and stopped walking. She missed her old city. She lifter her glove to look at the scar and then choked on a sob that was trying escape her throat. SHe slid down against a wall onto teh floor and put her head on her knees trying nto to cry.

Rogi, who was paying attention to the boy, heard silent sobs of crying coming from against a wall close by. "Come here, come here my child," he said to the air, unsure of where the person crying was.

Chris looked up to see a guy standing there.She wiped her eyes and then realized she was still disguised in teh enrgy. She slowly let herself appear and almost walked over to him but waited for him to notice her.

Emily turned her head to watch shadow as she passed them, amused even though it didn’t show. The girl was very good at lieing to herself. She lowered her head so that her bangs blocked her face completely, but she still kept an eye on the threads that were always there. she heard the sobs, but ignored them, she already had to many ugly strings around her, she didn’t need to be by another living creature, though she hadn't realized it was the girl she had seen before.

Shadow looked up at the mansion as she entered the courtyard in the front. it was obvious no one seemed to live here anymore. she then began to investigate and search around dully, shadows following her like small waves. "not much seems to be here.."

Rogi just looked around and called out again. "If you're looking for work, head up to the mansion and join with the others searching it there. I will be along shortly." As he finished speaking, Rogi returned his gaze to the boy. "You are more than welcome to come work for room and board. We will be up at the mansion." He then stepped back a few paces, rubbed the rune on his upper arm, and disappeared. He then later reappeared up at the mansion. "Once the other two are up here, Shadow, we will enter into the mansion. We may have a few others joining us, so please be careful."

Falling tsuki

Emily’s trumpet case thumped against her thighs as she walked, blocking everything as she concentrated on the rhythm of the familiar sound. When she heard the man behind her, her body froze even as her head turned sharply in his direction, an uncomfortable angle, looking up at the man who had called to her. Her one eye flickered all over his form looking at the threads that both bound him and led away from him, the tinge of awe settling on the few parts of her face that could be seen. She reached one sleeve covered hand to go ghost over the awkwardly colored threads, making her look like she was simply moving her hand through the air like a crazy person. She had forgotten her self, and blinked away, truly looking at the man and cocking her head, silently asking him for a repeat of his question.

Siegfried looked at the little girl, wating for ananswer. She looked out of sorts, moving her hair around and looking without saying anything. Since it seemed he wasnt getting anywhere, he replied, "It would be my honor to escort you to our destination little lady, if you so wish?"
Thinking back on it, they both could have been there by now if he hadnt asked the question. However, he was a man of honor, and he didnt really care what a weird shadow cat person had to say. He had his respect and mannerisms, and he was going to stick to them.

Emily looked up at Siegfried, her eye cold, the awe gone completely. It narrowed cause she was wondering why he would ask something like that. No one had ever asked her something like that, and they were already walking in the same direct, with the same destination in mind so. . . she blinked, stopped her thinking, and nodded, starting off again to the mansion.

"Thank you kindly." Falling in step behind the little girl, Siegfried unfocused the look in his uncovered eye. It was a trick he learned being a merc, where he could think about the many things going on while seemingly unfocused. It was a diffcult trick espcially when walking, but he was doing it. He first thought about the mission at hand, but his thoughts drifted to the look the girl gave him. Cold, with almost no soul behind them. What could she have possibly been through, to have such unfeeling eyes? Its almost creepy, totally unchildlike.And if thats the case, what is her true age?
Siegfried refused to ask though, for it was rude to ask a lady her age. Before he knew it the mansion was in sight and getting closer by the minuate. He didnt like the feel of it, but it was a job and he was determined to complete it. His hands, however, drifted closerto his revolvers hidden under his jacket, just in case.

Emily stopped feet within the mansion grounds, her grip tightening on the trumpet case, an she looked around, her lips twitching slightly. It was nice. Nice, and quiet, and bland. She saw Shadow wondering around, and turned so that she faced the way she came, waiting, unmoving, for Rogi. To another’s eye, she even seemed to stop breathing.

Siegfried stopped as well, surveying the area. The shadow cat girl was there, as was the butler. I have got to find out how he gets around so quickly. Might come in handy sometime. He was alarmed at the little girl seeming to stop breathing. However, on another look she seemed to be n a trance, so it was alright. He put his hands on his revolvers and waited quietly for the butler to give his next order.

Rogi was smiling, though the bushy mustache hid it well. "It looks like we are all here, so let's head on inside," he said as he turned towards the door. "I should tell you, this mansion is quite old and quite large. And, if the reports on it are true, it grows as the graveyard does. Any questions?"

"Where is your master so I can ask how I am getting compensated?" Siegfried was being redunant, because the butler had said before he was going to be compensated. However, his next question was serious. "Are we going to encounter anything that isnt dead?" He rubbed his gun butts nervously, looking at the doorway.

Emily focused again when Rogi showed up, breathing once more as she realized she had stopped. In embarrassment she touched her neck and followed after them. She did have one question, but Siegfried asked it before her, though she probably would have never spoken it. She looked up at Rogi waiting for the answer, but for a different reason then the other man. But when he spoke up again, she visibly flinched; stepping away from Siegfried’s back and closer to Rogi, staring at Siegfried with her cold gaze.

Siegfried turned his one eye to the little girl. She was looking at him with those cold eyes again, as if mad at him or something. Now wrong with her? She is mad about something....Maybe it had something to do with my questions. But which one..? He shook his head of these question. It didnt matter anyway. He looked back at the butler, but he didnt look like he was going to get his answers.
Walking up to the door, he kicked it open. If your going to do something, do it while the oppurtunity is knocking. He walked in and gave a quick look around. Chairs, coffe tables, lots of dust and cobwebs. Whats the butlers master want with this place?
