Leeloo pushed that single piece of soul further and further til it too was lost in the darkness. Now everything of what she once was was diminished, there was nothing but blackness. No pulse. No breathing. No memories. No her. Just emptiness. The rain pitter-pattered idly upon the ground, a few birds sang songs of renewed life. All but one little chafinch. It sang a mourning song. A song of unhappiness and death. But who would listen to a bird and try to understand the songs? No-one would.

Koji followed the small group to the resort, and up to the room that M had inherited. To Koji, when he was told he had a cell he could use, he had thought it would be like the cell he had grown up in. Cramped, only a cot and a toilet, maybe a table. The room he came to was much more than just that. Koji stared at the real bed, entranced by it until he saw the balcony. He walked over to it, as if in a trance, and stepped outside. Despite the pouring rain, he stood like an amazed child, an actual smile on his face.

Kurai peered in behind Kiba. She'd gone off and down the hall to see if she could find anything or anyone, and when she hadn't, she returned to the other. She'd found him peering into Leeloo's cell. "She's not dead," she said, as if she could read what Kiba's thoughts were. "Merely in pain and unhappy. Please step aside."
She used her powers to unlock Leeloo's cell like she had with Kiba's. She fell against it, panting. Doing that took a toll on her, but she was too stubborn to let it stop her completely. Hinderance was enough to put her in a bad mood.
She pushed herself up and yanked open the cell, red eyes peering in.
"Child," she said to Leeloo. Her voice was smooth and calm, yet fierce and determined. "You're coming with us. You're not dead, not yet."

Leeloo heard noises. She couldn't identify them as anything. She didn't respond. She couldn't. Her arms hung limp like spaghetti and her eyes were shut. She was determined to stay here. Or, it seemed like the best thing. She didn't know what sky was anymore. It was all a world of nothingness and white noise. Her lungs were also empty. Her heart did not pump. But she was aware. Aware of things around her, but was not able to name them.

Sabine rocketed out of the water with a momentous sweep of her wings, blasting into the air above the ship. Something was wrong with her vision, she realized - she didn't see things the same way; what she focused on was sharper, clearer than she'd ever been able to see, no matter how far away it was, but everything else became a blur. She caught sight of the ship and an unrestrainable fury exploded in her; dropping into a steep dive, she took hold of the mast and wrapped herself around it - and then she got a glimpse of herself. Black scales, curving talons, long, sinuous trunk... This body wasn't hers - was it? She screamed, the sound coming out as a piercing roar, and twisted, snapping the ship's mast in half, and then rose into the air again. The pirates were still shooting at her, but the bullets now bounced off her hide - she couldn't feel them. Sabine flew straight and low, skimming just over the heads of the natives standing on the shore and winding between the trees, flying inland until she came to the lake she'd first found. There she landed, and examined herself in its glassy surface for a long while, trying to calm herself. Her scales were pitch black, with a deep red sheen in the light. Her wings, the only part of her that had remained the same, were perhaps five times larger than they had been, to accommodate her changed size; her talons were long, wickedly sharp, and curved similarly to her horns. Her wedge-shaped head swiveled on a long, mobile neck, and her eyes swirled with every color imaginable. Sabine was nearly the exact image of her mother.

Her head tilted alittle "It was only a brief meet though..." She didn't bother persuing for the elevator soon had stopped. The doors opened and M had made his way out without waiting for her, which was fine, but it had taken her a moment to pick up her feet and follow him down the hall. Not so far off, M was opening a room door and stepped inside. In her mind, Violet heard his voice intrude upon her thoughts in a suggestion. Creeping into the room with silent steps, she slowly sat upon the bed besides his relaxing body. His gaze was obviously fixed on the weather outside. "A-anything you need to know?"

Kiba walked over Leloo and knelt down to Leloo. He put his hand on Leloo's chest and sent a jolt in her body to start up the heart again. I know the first on doesnt work so ill do it till she has life back in her, becuase her body looks as if it just died. o well i'll keep trying. He thought as he pumped another jolt. I hope the guards dont realize im doing this, and i cant believe my voicebox blew. o well.

"....you were human once?...." M asked Violet, knowing it already but wanting her to say it out loud to him. Observation during conversation could shed light on important information. "From what I have witnessed, humans do not readily give up what is theirs. Do you know why you are here?" the elf asked of Violet, looking at her wings.

((I'll be gone for alittle while. Thunder storm! xd ))
"As strange as it may seem yes...I was..." Her wings slightly stretched outwards abit as she looked at them herself. "I'm here cause after this...experimentation, I had to better my coping with the wings, and so, here I am to test them better." Her eyes flickered to his ears but then back to his eyes. His piercing golden eyes. Violet unintentionally allowed her hand to touch upon a pointed ear. "And why are you here may I ask in return?"

M liked Violet's touch. "....I am here to be observed..while in a social environment....." M thought to her, sitting up. Floating into the air and around behind Violet, M examined Violet's wings and back, caressing her skin where they met. "What are you called," M asked, referring to violet's artificial species.

Kurai watched for a moment, a slight hint of curiosity behind her red eyes. She was impressed, but wouldn't vocalize it. She perked up at the sound of footprints and reached into the cell. "We have no time. Quickly, grab her and follow me before we're caught."

She couldn't help but smile alittle. "Observed as a social being then? Well that doesn't seem to bad..." Violet watched as M seemed to slid gracefully right behind her to touch on her back to feel where the wings met. A chill ran up her back as she began to blush alittle. "I-I'm considered an aviary human, nothing to special...As for yourself you don't seem genetically made, only naturally"
