"Counter attack of course." Renault decided immediately. "We have to get them to believe we're not on to them, but we do have to try to stop them." A whistling sound emanated from his left palm and soon, a whirlwind of sand formed in the center. "I just hope we won't have to anytime soon. The less fights we have, the less time we'll have to wait for Evie to respond. That is if she can get Nasrin back under control in time."

Elizabeth listened carefully, biting her lip and lowering her gaze, deep in thought. "Well, they just attacked two separate places savagely, surely they'll want to regroup and replan before they do anything else?" Her sigh punctured her sentence, rethinking her words. "Actually, forget what I just said. For all we know they could jsut be acting out randomly."

"Tch." Renault uttered in disagreement. "I doubt that heavily. The likely hood of them attacking us, Eden and Cleanse, randomly is way too farfetched. They're being led by the same person that gave us these powers. If losing them means stopping him, then so be it." The Eden leader shifted position once again and looked at the two awaiting their responses.

"Yeh I suppose, the attacks were obviously tactical." Elizabeth's eyes flicked up to look at Renault at his last sentence, smirking slightly. "You act as if I love my powers of something." She laughed in reply, knowing she could easily live without her powers. "To be honest I don't care much for them."

Karana looked at Cheshure and smirked giving him a small two fingered salute and watched as he disappeared. After he left, she turned towards Alex. "Let's go," she said. "Those two will be fine. Ches will keep an eye on Nasrin. The plan won't fail," she said in an optimistic tone of voice. Yukina nodded. It was best to deal with one thing at a time. If they were to try and tackle a million things at once, plans might backfire. She was surprised when he stepped closer to her. "Um...you're welcome," she said blushing with modesty. "Sure, I'd love a little bit of help. It would be a nice change. Everyone else is always too busy with other affairs so I'm usually stuck with cleaning by myself." She led him out of the room and towards the next.

"I apologize if that's the vibe I give off. Like your powers or not though, dealing with this guy may result in a loss of them." He smiled a toothy smile at Elizabeth revealing thirty-two shards of gleaming diamond. "Heh, that's always a perk with the power that I have. An ever white smile when I choose."

Her eyes widened in surprise at his teeth, a smile growing on her face. "Well yeh, everything has perks. Like I don't even have to lift a finger anymore, I just say the spell, and it happens." She smiled knowing she had shown this earlier with the dishes. Her smile faded, however, as she thought of life without her powers. "It'll be odd, I know, but bearable. And it's not as if everything we know is to do with our powers."

Sai nodded as he listened to the two. To be honest he hadnt really thought much of life without his powers. Mainly because by all medical accounts he should be dead. His powers were currently the only real thing keeping him alive. He grinned a wide toothy grin. "You know Renault i thought the expression was pearly whites not, I can crack through a safe, and shape a diamond ring with my teeth, whites. As for powers, I think i could do with out the constant threat of breaking apart reality and bleeding on a constant basis."

"You two have it easy. I have an element as a power, so I'm not used to being hit. I've taught myself to just become sand as a reflex. That'll be the hardest part." Renault admitted. "Besides combat and protection, I live normally. Unless I feel like bothering people with a small sandstorm. And where have you been Sai? The expression changed years ago!" He jeered with laughs and chuckles lacing his joke. "Makes me wonder though. Will I change this orphanage when people stop having powers? Probably. I can't not help people."

Elizabeth laughed at their banter, glancing around the room in interest. "I suppose you could turn it into a rehabilitation centre, you know, for people who don't have powers any more and need some help. It is really easy to get dependent on your powers." She smiled, knowing she was one of those people dependent on their powers. Sure she could fight, but only if the attacker was weaker than her and at a disadvantage.

"Oh yes cause cracking reality is soooo easy." Sai shrugged giving a joking laugh. "Oh and about those sandstorm's watch it...got some in my tea last time...and its how i lost my hat in the first place" He fixed his hat a little tighter against his head. "And hey ya know i'll stick around to help out and what not. I dont really have anywhere else to go anyway."

"You know you two, I think in another life, we all may have been the best of friends without a care in the world. No Sentinel, no Eden, no Cleanse. Possibly."

"Best of friends?" Elizabeth smiled at the idea, meeting Renault's gaze. "Possibly. Although we still have extremely different views. Maybe a different background would have affected our ideas." She looked down, trying to imagine them all as friends. "But it's not as if we can change it, so not much point thinking about it." Her gaze rose to meet Renault's once more, smiling.

"Oh? And why is that?" Renault's eyes were in tune within her's as he continued his inquiry. "In times of danger or fear, all we have left is our memories and our thoughts and our what ifs. It is these thoughts that humor me somewhat you know? It gives us an answer when there isn't one." He tilted his head to the side, still eyeing the girl in a half serious gaze. "Your nature is a stark contrast to mine Eliza. I think in that other lifetime, we may have had spectacular arguments that shook the lands and a few ears." He punctuated his speech with another jovial smile at the girl.
