Lucius sighed and looked at the ground rubbing his sister's back.

"We are screwed aren't we?"he asked sighing.

" Lor's dead..the councal has failed..and sooner or later..the Frost Kingdom will be knocking down are doorstep."he said.

Damon walked up and he dropped a couple deer on the stack of food they had left.

"Never think that you understand me?"Damon said his eyes looked at Lucius sighing.

"We will end this..and I promise you with my life..that you will be ok at the end of it..no matter what I have to do."he said gently. He starred at the moon above.

"I won't let Valcom be joined by his own children..you can forget that..his death will not be in vain..and nither will Lor's."he said his eyes closing.

"We are only a mile from the temple of the 12. That is where this will end...this war with Crow is more my business than anyone elses..I will face Crow alone..and I will not ask for any of you to come with me..as enough damage has been done."he said gently.

Xalidir sat up and he starred at Damon.

"You think I will let you stand alone and fall like Lor and Valcom? Forget it Damon..I have a battle to settle with with Graphin."he said.

Malik sighed and looked at the man infront of him by the fire.

"I will handle Raphael..as I have business with him.I also suggest..though it is his choice..Victor come with us to confront Kraton..and Lucius come aswell as Kira..to confront another of are issues. Lexi and Val come as backup..though as you have said that is there choice."he said.

Val closed her eyes again seeing her father making his usual determination face she seen when she was growing up.
"Mom would most likely come as backup. I'll come as a range back up" she said quietly as she sat up next to her brother fingering the bow by her side.

"The Frost Kingdom is in chaos...a chaotic place that I don't know very different from what I grew up in" Lexi said as she walked back to the group sitting beside her daughter. She glanced over at Damon. "I need to speak with you later or perhaps now. Your choice you want everyone to know this" she said softly.

Victor nodded slamming a fist into his open palm looking calm. "I really hate disspearing again. Not running this time" he said mildly. He glanced down at his swords and the weapons he took from the rebel groups on their little trip back.

Kira nodded but looked down at her brother's palm where a new tattoo stood out. "Alright...though I should hope around for being a medical specialist" she said softly.

Damon sighed starring at Lexi.

"We will talk in private.."he said gently but he looked at them each and sighed.

"You are all sure about this?"he asked gently.

Malik sighed.

"The temple will be where it ends then..we shall fight togeather..and if we must..die togeather."he said and stood up putting his hand over the pot..the flames taking it and meeting his hand.

"We fight for Lor..we fight for Valcom..we fight for Karu..we fight for Kiba..we fight for The Cold and Dead..against The Dark."he said and Damon nodded putting his hand on Malik's..both of there palms where slowly burnt to where a cross formed on them.

"For are friends..we must fight..and be strong."Lucius said and he put his hand amongst the two..Damon nodded and smiled.

"We fight for all the coins then." Xalidir said and he smirked putting his hand amongst theres.

"Then let us take thouse sorry bastards down with us!"he growled and Malik smiled at his younger brother nodding in agreement.

Victor grinned putting his hand amoung the others. He glanced up at the sky. "For our homeland and for your future generations" he said

"Because the fighter spirit cannot die in us" Kira said placing a hand on her brother's shoulder and the other over the others looking worried. Was she wrong for joining a guy thing?

"Don't worry Kir it's not a guy thing. It's a Kabuato thing but that's even wrong. It's our pact thing" Victor chuckled.

"And may those sorry bastards burn in hell for what they have taken from us!" Lexi hissed still touchy from the news of her husband's death.

Val nodded in agreedment looking determine. "As Malik said" she whispered softly squeezing her eyes shut. "For father and our deceased others"

Damon nodded but he looked at each of them.

"If we lose..and we fall at that temple..know that we atleast stood and fought till are end came. We most likly won't walk out of there like we are now..but know..that no matter what happens..you can't stop fighting."he said gently.

"It's now or never."he said with a grin.

Our family been cheating the grave for as long as we know it my cousin" Victor said with a grin. "this is what it's all about...keeping the peace and staying together"

Oh not this again..."Kira mumbled smiling then glanced over at Lexi who's eyes were out focus again. Kira glanced at Val and nodded.

Val quietly slipped away from the group and lead her mother away for she can get some peace.

Damon put his hands in his pockets and sighed.

"I will stay with Lexi..she wanted me to talk to her anyway."he said gently and went after Val and her.

Xalidir sighed.

"Valcom's effected her in more ways than we thought?"he asked them

Kira glanced over at Victor who nodded.

Victor rubbed his hand through his hair and sighed. "Best to say, a hell lot...when I was growing up I noticed she and Valcom were extremly close...soulbounded even in a way"

Kira patted her brother's back. "When Valcom died...Victor and Lexi wanted to run ahead of us the whole time seeing if they were here with you guys for the battle his death along with Lor's would have been prevented...Lexi wasn't able to function for awhile thats why we took so long"

Meanwhile Val was holding her mother as she sobbed uncontrollably.

Val sighed and looked up at the sky looking lost. "Daddy...help mama please..."

A long heaving sigh came from deep inside Val's mind.

"You know I have done all I can now Val.."came a distant voice.

Damon's figure walked up to Lexi and Val.He kept quiet however.

Val heard someone approaching but was concentrating on the voice she was already hearing. Her father's she was pretty sure

She glanced down at her mother who was trying to calm down. She couldn;t be heard right?

"I know...you helped brought us back here right? I don;t know how it's just...when you left us she been seeing death...pretty much like visions of death..." she said softly ignoring how insane she looked. Hell she might as well be

Valcom sighed and his voice came out just a tiny bit stronger in her head.

"Val...think hard about it..do you remember when you were younger? Do you remember how close we have all been?"he asked.

Val placed her hand on her forehead rubbing her head.

"Everything was peaceful...well as close as peace can get when growing up...everyone was family and would do anything for each other...even till death" she said quietly looking at her mom who was rubbing her eyes
