Lex bolted up the stairs, though considering they were still slick it could probably be more to say he sort of fell up the stairs. Handrails were good.

He panted glancing around and shushed his Serperior, he knew her cry anywhere. "What is going ... um, guys. The control door is shut." There should have been light shining through from the control door..

The doors wouldn't yield to Howlback's efforts; they were built for durability.

As the Rockets came up the stairs, every light on the ship that was still capable of it suddenly came to life, and every exposed wire and damaged outlet sparked.

Daniel, following as dutifully as ever, slowed down, paling slightly. "This might be uh, one of the worst things," he said ominously.

..or a discussion of information security could be interrupted by a very important scream.

"s**t."

That wasn't any of them.

Computer forgotten, Hayes made for the stairs, not as fast as his more athletic friend, but in plenty of time to hear Daniel's proclamation of doom.. oh, and the stairs up were across a lake..

"Explain worst things." The elite didn't sound quite like himself.

Tambrey flinched and crouched reflexively, water-be-damned (and also -great! water!-) as the wires sparked and the lights went on.
She nearly put her hands over her head, stifling an unhappy noise, before slowly forcing herself to straighten up and look around, teeth gritted as she listened to Daniel.

Her expression would likely give away that she definitely wasn't happy now.

"Uh, well, uh," Daniel stammered. "If that's-- uh, it could be David. Might be. Didn't think he had access but someone's turned on all the power. And, uh, you know."

The white lights dimmed and were replaced by red emergency lights.

"...I'm not great at talking, but uh, I think you probably get the idea."

Aulus hastened over to the door to the control room, or at least as close as he could get by means of the tables and computers to take a closer look; he didn't fancy putting his feet in the water right now. "Daniel get over here and put the damn code in again! Or call it to me so I can put it in!" Or maybe they should just run like hell.

Grabbing his dex Aulus contacted Claire. "We have a situation," to say the least. "Psycho guy seems to be in the main control room and he just turned on all the power." s**t! Perhaps they should have split the team after all, left some people to guard the flashy computers. He should have thought of that, he'd known the guy was still here somewhere! <******** and Phaethon soon made it to the top of the stairs too and stood at the ready, respective flames burning hot with anticipation.

Faleen's eyes widened when she saw the doors were closed. but what got her was the tone Daniel took.
Her head snapped around quickly to look at the man, but hardly had to repeat the question that Hayes asked.

"Banette!" Faleen barked, a very clear anger growing in her tone. "Get in there now! and asses this."
The door was sealing her away from something she very badly wanted to study, and if there was a chance she could protect it, and find out what was wrong. She was going to take it.

"In the meantime" Faleen told the rest of the team "We nee to get out of this room."
They weren't dead yet, but they very well could be if something else went wrong.

She lead them up "Red lights mean different thing, Can you please be a little more specific" Faleen said to Daniel as she and her pokemon, Zoroark ushering along the ex-Galactic to the stairs that lead up

Lex stroked Glit muttering softly that she had done well. She had warn them and he had told her to guard the stairs not the computers. He called out at his Crobat, "Howlback!"before recalling her to her pokeball and clipped it to his belt.

He didn't need her injuring herself against a door she couldn't open.

Tama, having forgotten about the slippery stairs, had little trouble getting up them, but suffered the consequences once he was at the top of them. Slipping, he skidded in the water a bit. Luckily, he caught himself before major damage happened.

He did this in time to hear Daniel explaining the impending doom. "Oh crap." He muttered as his two Pokemon finally joined him.

Potato flapped his wings and made distressed noises while remaining perched on Char's shoulder, swiveling his head this way and that at the sudden changes in lighting.

They were all standing in water. She glanced around. So far no one was Frying right? She glanced to the doors. And then Faleen gave orders... Kailee jumped. She went up the stairs.

Lex moved after Kailee, he was not going to stay about down here and hope he didn't get fried. So, he followed orders and went up the stairs, Glit sliding behind him and Flatline hoovering about his head, making upset little calling noises.

Claire to Aulus

Claire's voice came in through Aulus's dex, confused and concerned, "Must be why I just saw lights come on. What's he doing?"

Getting up the stairs did sound good. Very good. Just getting away from all the sparky wires and things sounded wonderful.
Tam' waited, though, near the bottom of the stairs, forcing herself to, to make sure other people were coming.

"Getting out of here does sound a better plan than lingering to open that..." She called across to Aulus.

If Daniel was leaving then there was no chance of the code reaching him. Giving up on that plan Aulus nodded to Tam and headed quickly back over the bridge of tables and suchlike to dry land. With no other immediate options he followed after the others, Tortie rejoining him as he went.

"Don't know," Aulus replied to Claire through his dex, "trying to get some sense out of the other one now. Lights have gone red down here, your area the same?"

Char replied, lumbering on after his trainer.

Phaethon paused in the room with the door Aulus had been glaring at, briefly considering charming it but eventually deciding not to. he called to the other pokemon; his bulk would get in the way on stairs.
