"That's a relief. I'm so worried!"
Yuugi was also worried. He sensed something bad coming... some sort of evil presence perhaps. He had a feeling his friend was in more trouble than the other's could even comprehend.
"JOUNOUCHI!" Malik bellowed, the slap provoking more blood from his nose. He was growing angry. He didn't want him to leave. "Why don't you stay here and fight like a real man!" He cried, slamming his apartment door behind him as he entered the hallway. He was sure with the hallway's acoustics, Jounouchi would have heard him. "Or are you still scared of me as always?!"

"Here it is." Honda pointed to the apartment complex.
Jounouchi stopped in his tracks, staring ahead of himself for a few seconds before turning around and facing Malik with a glare, "I've never been scared of you a day in my life..." he whispered dangerously.

"Then come face me. You are stronger then me. Why don't you just kill me? It's tempting isn't it?" He said with a calm grin. "Kill me now, and all your problems will go away."
"Alright, let's go! I think he is number 12 on the 3rd floor, right?" Yuugi opened one of the building's doors. "Is there an elevator or stairs somewhere Honda-kun?"

"Tch, I wouldn't lower myself to your standards..." Jounochi scoweled, "I don't kill." though he continued remaining in a stance prepared to fight.
"Probably." Honda replied, looking around, "Yeah, there's an elevator right there." he pointed ahead.

Malik gave a disgusted frown, "And why are you assuming that I have? That isn't very nice, Jounouchi-kun. You don't even give me a chance."
Inside the elevator was very creepy. They were surrounded by mirrors. One of them was broken though. Yuugi wondered what happened. He looked over at Anzu with a worried glance.
"This place is sort of creepy, isn't it..." She said quietly.

"Like hell I don't give you a chance!" Jounouchi huffed, loosing his cool, "I gave you a chance to redeem yourself after all you did during Battle City, and you go and try to... try to... agh...!" he could even say the words, it was bothering him so much. He wanted so much to just run away from Malik, never have to see that face again, but he wasn't about to back down, "I've given you plenty of chances..." he finally said.
"Yeah... glad I don't live here..." Honda said looking around.

"Yea me too.." The elevator had come to a stop. The door open, and she alliowed the boys to exit before her.
Malik couldn't come with a retort. He searched his mind for some sort of response to weaken the blond, but nothing was coming. Jounouchi had given him chances... he could hardly remember why he was attacking him in the first place.
He used to attack Rishid all the time... he never hated him either... but...
That's when he saw Yuugi from the corner of his eye, emerging from the elevator behind the other blond. Anything he was going to say was going to have to wait. He flashed a glare at Jounouchi, before looking over to the short boy and his friends. "Yuugi! It's so great to see you!" He exclaimed much too cheerfully, quickly wiping the new trail of blood from his nose before waving.
"J-Jounouchi kun... what is going on?" Was the first thing out of Yuugi's mouth. He completely ignored Malik. He was worried about his friend.

Jounouchi froze, feeling a bead of sweat run down his face as he heard Yuugi's voice. Yuugi was here... no, he couldn't let his friend see him like this... his neck was still covered in bruises, and there were marks on him that were definitely not from a street brawl...
"Jounouchi?" Honda called, stepping beside Yuugi, "What the hell's going on?"
"N-nothing..." Jounouchi replied, quickly shaking his head, but refusing to turn around so the others could see his neck.
Honda rose an eyebrow, walking up to Jounouchi and putting a hand on his shoulder, forcing him to turn around. His eyes widened when he saw the marks on Jounouchi's neck, and the panicked look in his eyes. Honda then suddenly turned to Malik, rushing up and pinning him against a wall, "What the hell did you do to him?!" he demanded.
Jounouchi's eyes widened, "Ho-honda, stop...!" he ran up to his friend, trying to pull him away from Malik.

Malik let out a panicked scream as he felt the taller teen pin him to the wall. He could hardly breath, nonetheless reply. He decided to show his true face to the other though, sending him a cold glare as he struggled to find breath. "I... didn't
.. " was as all he could finally manage to reply in a croak.
"Honda-kun! What are you doing?!" Anzu exclaimed, completely confused by the situation. "Please don't hurt anybody! Malik is our friend... I'm sure your mistaken!"
Yuugi decided to chase after the two of them, they were going to get to bottom of this. Something was very wrong. He hadn't seen what Honda had seen, but now Honda was attacking Malik. What did Honda find out? Yuugi wanted to know.

"Honda, calm down!" Jounouchi shouted angrilly at him, getting ahold of him by putting his arms under Honda's and pulling until he was forced to let Malik loose.
Honda clenched his teeth, glaring daggers at Malik as Jounouchi held him back, "What happened?" he demanded. He knew Malik did something... it wasn't just those rather unique bruises that Jounouchi was sporting on his neck, but when he had looked into his friend's eyes... they looked panicked, fearful, and upset... Malik had to have done something... but what? Jounouchi wasn't one to get that upset easilly. That was why Honda was so concerned, because he knew Jounouchi only made a big deal over things that actually were big deals.

Malik fell on his knees to the ground breathing rapidly. "Thanks..." He replied lamely to Jounouchi. He didn't look up. He was suddenly filled with shame. Here he was cowering before Jounouchi and his friends, completely guilty of all his charges. What else could he do? "Why don't you ask your friend...." Was all Malik had to say to Honda. He decided he was going to get up and leave as soon as he got his breathing pattern back to normal. He'd leave and close the door forever. It's true right? I am a bad person. Right now he'd just wait for the right moment. If Honda found out what Malik tried to do, the Egyptian would probably be pounded to a bloody pulp.

((Ha, for me too. XD Though I'm allowed to eat at the computer... ninja ))
Honda turned his glare towards Jounouchi, waiting for an explanation.
Jounouchi paled slightly, "I... nothing happened..." he looked down, "I just got into a brawl a little earlier, that's all..." he mumbled.
Honda, of course, didn't believe a word of this. He knew Jounouchi too well to fall for such a badly-constructed lie.

Malik's fists were shaking uncontrollably. He was worried about Jounouchi blurting the whole thing out. He was such a horrible liar! The Egyptian stood up. "Yea. That's all that happened. He was making fun of the way I dress so I hit him. Then we fought. I'm sorry." He said convincingly. His lying was much more up to par, hopefully these guys would fall for it.

((Ha, we almost never do that. XD;; The few times my parents are home at dinner time neither make dinner anyway, so I usually just cook something for myself and eat it wherever. ^^;; And the even fewer times that my mom or dad cooks a meal (or me sometimes, though I suck at cooking so that's rare for me to cook for more than just myself), only about half the time we sit at the table and eat together.))
Honda looked suspiciously back and forth at the two. Some of Malik's injuries definitely looked like they came from a brawl, but Jounouchi's... Honda suddenly went up to Jounouchi and put his hands on his shoulders to hold him still, leaning close and examining the blond's neck.
Jounouchi blinked in surprise, looking down at Honda nervously, "Honda, what're yo-"
"You were strangling him..." Honda interrupted quietly, turning to Malik looking furious, "If what you say is true, that you and Jounouchi got into a fight, then you tried to choke him! And what's even worse is that there's some other bruises there... they're really weird ones, but they're not from strangling; I don't know what they're from. But... this was definitely more than just a little fight!" he huffed.

Malik shrugged, "I had no chance. I fight like a girl. I scratched him a couple times, sure. I never had a solid choke hold on him though. It's really fine. We are okay. I think we were just worked up with other issues in our lives and attacked each other instead." He spoke his lie perfectly. Honda didn't recognize the fact that those were hickeys, so the lie was piecing itself together just fine. "I can't explain the bodies reaction to being attacked. You don't have to believe us though. Although not trusting your friend's word isn't a very nice thing to do."
((Wow, we always do. Except once in awhile, really. They both cook us dinner and we eat together. And don't worry I suck at cooking too. ^^;; ))
