Momiji Akiko What else am I to say? You said it yourself, assisted suicide in the cases of the suffering is fine. So at what part of that was I wrong? Oh, BTW. It's hard for me not to judge most people that find it okay to end a human life other then in self defense. That also includes abortion, assisted suicide, euthanasia. etc... Still opinion - we'll just have to agree to disagree there... Quote: Actually, liberals have been trying to make those legal too, and in some countries they are legal. So when they become legal then its no longer an illness? The two usually go hand in hand, don't they? Quote: Whatever you say. I guess logic is considered opinion these days. It is your version of logic - your opinion...just because you believe it, does not make it any more concrete. Quote: Actually, it was S&M as an illness, why it was no longer an illness and why it should or should not be an illness. My question as little as you would like to address it was very relevant to the topic. For the same forces at work that made it no longer considered an illness are the very same ones moving to make things such as ***** and bestiality no longer as such as well. Also, how the line of thinking you use to defend sadomasochism will inevitably end with removal of those as illnesses and give them legal status just like in other countries. Y'see, in debate, one sticks to the specified topic - "lines of thinking" or "logical flows" or whatever are what are called diverting the topic - where one forms a tenuous logic bridge from the topic at hand to one they will be more successful at. I'm not following any "flow" or whatever to a different topic, no matter how much you try. 'Sides, logical leaps such as "will inevitable end" are predicting the future, which is obviously impossible to defend - I'm not even going to address suppositions. Seriously, we're batting around semantics at this point - you can have the last word, I don't need it - but this topic is done.

I agree with Kagato-chan that this topic is done, at least in here. If you really feel the need to continue this with Kagato-chan, take it to the PMs. ^^;

Yami Takashi Momiji Akiko Ah, so do you plan on taking any higher education courses for art or photography? I went to college to study graphic design, that don't count? I didn't know you went to college for that, I must have overlooked that, that's the only reason I asked ^_^;

Seriously, we're batting around semantics at this point - you can have the last word, I don't need it - but this topic is done. Well it was getting to point where the points were getting shorter anyways. You can only explain a point so many times that it would have been getting pointless and it seems to have reached to that point anyway. So in closing I would just like to say this and if you want to reply back, that's fine, but I'm done with it. That point would be that, the reasons used by the APA to declassify Sadomasochism is an argument that can be used to declassify other illnesses (*****, incest, bestiality, etc.) as no longer being an illness. And in some countries that is already the case. Your justification for its removal can be used as an argument for those also. And that be careful what you wish for, for if you get it you might be getting with it more then you bargained for and in the end have no one to blame but yourselves. In other news, why in the heck did President Obama get a Nobel Peace Prize? He has done nothing, if anything made things worse. At this point the "so-called reason" he won the prize for, "giving people Hope", is all but lost on all but a few of the blind followers that still believe in him. Seriously, these prizes are nothing but a laughingstock. Then again, Hitler, Castro and a few other evil dictators have won this award too, while a woman who rescued hundreds of Jewish children and suffered torture for them at the hands of the Nazis in WWII, lost out to Al Gore for one. So I guess I really have no reason to be surprised. And no, I'm not equating Obama with Hitler before any starts getting any ideas.

Yeah if someone can get an award without actually DOING anything, then the awards have become a real joke. I mean wait to see if his ideas of "hope" actually pan out long term, before deciding that he deserves one. Many ideas sound great on paper, like Communism, but when you apply them to real life...they often times don't pan out. I think it's an insult that someone with some ideas gets a major award, but that woman who got tortured for saving those Jews should have gotten it, or some other REAL Hero who's REALLY done something looses out. Regardless of your feelings for Obama, the fact remains that he got that award without any actual accomplishments, and without proof that his ideas won't make things worse like his Stimulus. Which as it turns out, is PROVEN to NOT work LONG TERM. stare

Like Momi said that IS a common mistake to make. Not everyone does college, and when you say a long time, people do think more like 5-10+ years ^^;

I cannot believe I stumbled on this but I found a site where they have the last 26 episodes of Inuyasha animated. I thought it was a hoax and watched one. It starts with the betrayal of Kaugrua when she frees Goyruomau. Yes I know I misspelled that but I will edit it when I get the correct spelling. I am a hard core Inuyasha fan so I am so excited. Episode 1 - Naraku's Heart http://www.inuyashamovies.net/home.htm
