"Thanks." said Rahvine smiling. "No he wasn't. When he was first turned he would be a level D, a former human. All D's eventually fall to level E, unless they have the chance to drink the blood of the pureblood that turned them."

Rahvine shook her head. "No, it happened too quickly. We were actually out on a hunt for an E that had already killed once. We got there too late to save his second victim, and there was blood everywhere." Rahvine paused looking down. "Zero had been stuggling the last month or so and he managed to hang on until we'd taken the E down." Rahvine shrugged slightly still looking down. "I ended up having to kill him right there, otherwise he would have killed me and escaped. He wouldn't have wanted that."

"I hope he was." said Rahvine softly sliding her fingers beneith her scarf to feel the scars from Zero's fangs. Rahvine let her hand fall back to her side, and looked up smiling sadly. "Anyway after that I just managed to make it back to the Association before I passed out."

Rahvine nodded "Twice, the first time I managed to get away before he drank much more than usual. The second time he knocked my gun out of my hand and I had to use the revolver. He actually was feeding when I shot him." said Rahvine pulling away her scarf to show Aura the deep scars on her throat.

"No, but then Zero was usually gentle too. Just that day was different." Rahvine put her scarf back in place. "And of course with Hana the relationship is a bit different. Zero and I were close, but more like siblings than a couple." Rahvine smiled slightly. "And Hana is a lot sillier about it, since he doesn't mind being a vampire. With him it's more like a game."

"I won't." said Rahvine smiling. "We never did anything like what I think you're imagining though."

"Yeah." said Rahvine shrugging. "Anyway that's pretty much how I ended up here. After Zero died I sold the house and basically just left. I told Headmaster Cross I was going and he's taking care of keeping my family misinformed."
