Vanessa smiled sweetly back at him, though behind her back, her hand was changing into its demon form, ready to rip into his chest and kill him.
Leora barely registered what Melissa said as she regained her balance and went right back in there, grabbing Lance's hand and pulling him towards her. "Lance! You don't love her!" she said, pulling him away from Vanessa.

"Well what makes you think I love you?!" He asked angrily for interrupting. The spell made him try to pull away from Leora and go to Vanessa, but his love for Leora made him not use enough strength to break free, so Leora pulled him away though he looked at Vanessa with eyes filled with longing. Not noticing in the slightest amount that she had her hand behind her back.

Leora looked into his eyes and reached up, turning his head to face back at her. "This . . ." she said softly before kissing him, hoping he'd come back to her.
Vanessa smiled evilly as Leora kissed him. Even if it didn't break the spell, it was the perfect distraction. She went at him, pulling her hand from behind her back, and aiming it to go through his back and rip his heart out.

Lance broke the kiss and twisted around, breaking free of Leora's hold to punch Vanessa square on her cheek, sending her flying. He looked back at Leora with his loving smile like right before she had driven away in his car. "Thanks Leora." He said back to normal and out of Vanessa's spell.

Tears sprung into Leora's eyes as she smiled back at him. "Lance!" she said and wrapped her arms around his neck and started sobbing into his chest. She was so happy that he had come back to her.
Vanessa was starting to show her true colors and she tried to put her spell back on Lance. "Lance, baby, leave her!" she hissed at him, too angry to make the spell properly.

Lance smiled at Leora and held her against her chest before pushing her away slightly as Vanessa asked him to. Then, he spun around to her again and charged at Vanessa before sinking his fangs into her neck and pulling back, ripping her throat out. He spit the blood on her, leaving her to die as he wiped the blood away and walked to the door before bending down to pick something up. "I believe this is yours, my lady?" Lance asked as he looked at her and held out the golden ring to her.

Leora smiled and took the ring and placed it back on her finger before pretty much tackling Lance in a hug as she kissed him passionately. She had been so afraid that she would have lost him.

Lance lifted her up and did his best to stay standing when she tackled him before kissing her back passionately and pulling away for a moment, maybe we should go back home before something else threatens to separate us, huh? But, we could leave tomorrow morning if you want, so we could have all of tonight . . ."
Melissa looked like she was about to puke when they kissed each other and felt a twinge of sadness when Lance said they would be leaving.

Leora kissed him quickly and nodded. "Sure, I just . . . have some things to do before then." she said and then went back to Melissa and hugged her. "Thank you for helping me find Lance . . ." she said with a smile.

"Your welcome," Melissa said hugging her back and glaring at Lance from over Leora's shoulder. "If you're leaving, will you come back some time?" She asked her.
Lance only shrugged when Melissa glared at him. And began walking past them and waiting by the elevator after pushing the button and waiting for his beloved wife to return to him.

Leora shrugged. "I don't know. But . . . you can always come and visit me." she said with a smile. She was absolutely giddy that she had Lance back . . . and had made a friend in Melissa.

"Alright, I'll try to see you soon." She said smiling back at her new friend. She didn't want her to leave, but she had to, and Melissa would miss Leora very much. Then she heard the elevator ring and knew it was time for her to go.

Leora smiled and then hugged her friend again before heading to Lance. "Bye Melissa!" she said happily, knowing that she was going to miss her, but she would at least see her again . . .

Lance pulled Leora into the elevator with him and kissed her again. "I love you Leora, and only you. Never think I don't." He said to her in a soft voice as the doors closed and left him and Leora alone inside the elevator.

Leora kissed him and then rested her head on his chest. "I love you too Lance . . . It's just when you're not around, I can't help but be scared that you'll find someone that you'll love more than me . . ." she said softly, holding him and then realizing that he was still shirtless and pulled away before smiling and resting her head on his chest again. "I like you like this Lance, very comfortable . . ." she said teasingly, referring to his lack of a shirt.
