"Faleen-!" Hayes started forward as the agent's boots hit the water, already hearing the scream, the locked muscles, the burnt scent of ionized air--

No. It was over -- it had happened, it was over, and the rest of the team were following her to the other side with none of the effects he was so familiar with. This wasn't that time.

But it would be worse than that time if he couldn't get over that s**t.

Just go. Just go, and don't think about it. He heard splashing; maybe he was making progress, or maybe it was just that first footstep, played over and over again, and the current was already coursing.

Banette would find his intangibility thwarted; though the rest of the areas they had used ghosts to explore were accessible, the Galactic control room was high enough security to warrant using similar anti-ghost technology to what Rocket employed for its own base.

"Boom," Daniel said, abandoning eloquence. "Worst case scenario." He made a reach for the access panel, but some of the Rockets seemed to be leaving, and leaving seemed like a much, much better idea.

Hearing Faleen's orders and thinking it would be for the best, he complied.

As much as he would have loved to have soared up the stairs on Tiamat, the electricity around wasn't safe for her. So, recalling both of his Pokemon back, he hoofed it up the stairs to join the others that had previously ascended that way

Tambrey was relieved that everyone was now going up the stairs and hurried up too, her own mind working to put up barriers against thinking about the kind of things Hayes was; she'd been working hard to get herself to a point where she wasn't left helpless because of some sparks.

"Self destruct?!" Faleen said in alarm as she stepped up onto the landing on the main floor, truing to face Daniel "The only other person we saw alive was Dave, you were speaking of. what Rank was he? Can he really do something like that? Or is there a rank on board that can do something like that!?"

Banetta appeared by Faleen a moment later, shaking his head as Faleen snapped her head around to look at him.
Her face flushed with anger. She couldn't just let that engine be destroyed!
Once again the Agent rounded on Daniel "You need to get me in there." she said. "He didn't get past the pokemon we had on that floor. How did he get in?"

"He said boom," Aulus said to Claire, the sick dread he suddenly felt clear in his voice.

Heart suddenly in his mouth again he whipped around to look for Alex. On spotting him behind him he grabbed his former partner's elbow and half dragged half shoved him forward up the stairs, ready to catch him if he tripped. "Let's go!" Where was Tam, was she coming too? Yes, there she was, she was going too and Char was just behind him, Tortie now ahead, but Phaeth was right at the back of the pack!

"What?" Her voice changed to a more serious, urgent tone, "Get out. Run if you're not already!"

Booom, self-destructing doom. Lex stepped on the landing of main hall, they were close to the vechicle bay and a way to get out of there. "Faleen leave it. You can get it out of Deimos when we get at the base." Okay, he was yelling at a Agent but self destruction == not going down the stairs again.

He didn't linger, running swiftly down the hall.

"I don't know!" Daniel offered helplessly in response to Faleen. "I don't, I-- I think he was, s**t, I think he was an engineer? He never said nothing about being in the, in the, you know, that place!" The idea of it was apparently as distressing to Daniel as to anyone else.

A blaring screech echoed through the halls of the airship as the intercom suddenly crackled to life. "Hello, Commander Tethys!" a voice called out. "I saw- I saw you! 'nd your, allayer posse! Glad you vvvisited! Hope you 'njoy being in little pieces you absoabsoluteabsolutelyhorriblef'ckingnightmareofa--" The words broke off in laughter.

Kailee felt the hair on her neck stand up at that. Boom. Thats what it was coming to. She glanced to her team mates. No one was going to die... they were going to get out... Well... Dave would die... but they were saving Daniel... so no one important? She was running. Trotting along behind Faleen. But then she stopped and Kailee ran out past her stopping a moment in B. But Claire's voice came through. She Glanced to the way out. Well that voice prompted it. They were blowing the ship. Kailee turned and ran figuring everyone else would be behind her.

Faleen couldn't believe it, no way an engineer had access to SELF DESTRUCT over something as important as THEN ENTIRE FLYING BASE. and she was going to argue this point, before Claire gave them very clear orders. And the announcement overhead, the very clear and somewhat crazy voice adding to the felt destruct scenario.

Gritting her teeth together, She looked up to the group "Lets get out of here."
No more time was wasted, as she joined them to getting to the exit.

Tambrey emerged from the stairs as the intercom broadcast the rather chilling message.
"Why the stopping? No stopping! Running is good! More running!" She called, wide-eyed to see Faleen and Daniel, mostly, stopped there.
She definitely agreed with Claire's advice.
At least Kailee hadn't stopped...

Tama had noticed that Faleen had stopped and asked Daniel about whoever it was that was now in the control room. He stopped momentarily, but hearing the orders from Claire and then the crazy talk announcement.... that was an instant NOPE. Kailee had a good idea, with that, he just kept running out of there

Running was good and the vehicle bay was just ahead and the broken entrance to gt the hell out of dodge. Lex ran. Glit slid but she was one fast grass snake.

Somewhere around the middle step it occurred to Hayes he was actually on stairs, and-- he nearly did an about-turn as he overheard the dialogue, wet soles squealing on the flooring. She wanted to go back?

"You are not going-" he started, his own order garbled with Claire's, but - after a moment - she was moving, and he could move too, though now Kurt was ahead.
