NG, I can understand not wanting to hear people complain, but at least try to be a little sensitive once in a while.

e_e I find that stressfully uncomfortable. Why should I be nice for somone else I dont know/am friends with?

You don't even have to be nice. You could just pretend to feel a bit sorry at the very least. If somebody's friend/family member dies, a simple, "I'm sorry to hear that", will suffice, instead of bitching at them like you're so ********' superior. All you ever do is whine about how you need money to take care of your ridiculous pets, so what right do you have to tell Araclast to shut up and not complain? I'll definately agree that you're selfish. Just a selfish little girl.

If somebody annoys me, I let them know. However, I'm also human enough to keep it to myself if somebody really needs my help. If he were to cry about how he got his video game taken away, then I'd have told him to shut up too. But his friend being brain-dead? That's hardly a comparison.

As for money, if you need it so bad, then get a job.

I hardly ever stand up for myself im weak ill admit to that but i knew those two for a good bit of my life they were practically family to me, visiting eachother hanging out, then in an instant they were both gone the two people i had to help me through hard times, to live the good and the bad with. I try to keep a smile but its hard maybe i have money a family but i lost the two people i shared my life with.

I think he's entitled to talk about it if it's bothering him. Only mistake he made was thinking that you were a decent enough person as to listen or care. As humans we have a need to communicate things like this. It's a proven, psychological fact. As for his friend being alive still, I won't get into talking about that. Maybe you say you don't complain about some of the things that happen to you (even though you do, and have), that doesn't mean that other people can't just 'cause it bothers you. You could have ignored him too, right? That would have been better than belittleing his feelings.
