Haha, well in that case, I think I prefer to try to be a little less wretched and avoid foods that require the animal to be tortured.
It's weird though because my mind is usually active, and I don't necessarily feel tired, but I seem to yawn quite a lot.

Well good luck with that ^_~.

You are an instigator Kits, yawning unprompted proves that you like to start s**t! Hehe razz

Ugh is that a reference? I am so behind on my LK...maybe I'll try and catch up in bit while I clean my room. Ya know, if I clean my room. XD

Assessments thus far:

1. Cloudman (yes I'm THAT far behind) - Can't say I get it, never heard of Cloudman, so whatever. I watched it, it was short.

2. v****a Monologues - Thought it would be funny, a random tout to the actual v****a monologues. But no, it's apparently just inserting the word v****a everywhere. Couldn't manage to watch more than the first couple of minutes. I don't know if it got amazing at the end (if so tell me - give me an exact where so I can skip to it or else no go), but I just couldn't take it anymore. I mean seriously, who makes a 5 minute video of just that? Most of the places weren't even a funny location to insert a v****a (now that sounds like an oxymoron, inserting a v****a, xd ). VM you were a huge bust.

3. Rise and Shine - Ok, the first thing I liked, here's to looking forwards to season 3. The only comment I really have to make: I absolutely adore abridged Noa's voice! It is gorgeous! Seriously, I probably woulda liked Noa SO much better if he had that voice. Granted as he's like what, 10,12 (I guess he's technically older, but computer years don't count), that might be creepy. But seriously, lovely voice.

4. The Mask Incident - Ok this was just hilarious, I adored it. Although that woman's high pitched laughter was PAINFUL! And the woman next to him (who I assumed the laugh was coming from until she spoke at the end, no way those can be the same voice), who is she? The costume looks like Kikyo from Inuyasha, but Kikyo did not have purple hair. In fact it's one of the few animes I've seen where hair color almost makes sense. Save for a few white headed demons (which therein justifies the seemingly unnatural look) everyone has black hair. Japanese...with black hair. Blowing my mind here. Heh, ok well random tangent aside I found it hilarious. But I have to suspect that unless FMA abridged is actually good, that's going to do much more to hurt it then help it. Offended TAS fans can be vicious. razz

5. Kroze - This is 8 minutes long, why is it 8 minutes long? Ugh, it had better be good. FYI, that Kuriboh is fugly! What's with the one eye? And the monster teeth?!? Although hetero life mate, awwwww, I love those, go bromance! Anyhow...8 minutes later: Yawn. I mean don't get me wrong, super sweet, what a good friend LK. But yea, I don't know Kroze so it's not exactly the most interesting to me. And it was serious, not funny. I hope that if anyone makes an appreciation video for me someday that it is friggin hilarious. I want to be touched, but more importantly, I want to literally be: rofl . All that aside, this video STILL trumps the v****a Monologues. And it's longer, that's how bad you are VM, that's how bad! Anyhow poor Kroze, I dunno what's going on but hope he's ok.

Ok not even halfway caught up but I'll have to get to the rest later. ((Yea I totally just stopped right before the GX video, heh, GX razz ))

Yeah, the v****a Monologues were dull for the most part. XD There were a few times where they threw the word in at really funny times, but it was overall overdone.
Noah was so cool in Rise and Shine. Love his voice as well; sadly it's better than most of the voices in the actual dub series. Didn't dub Noah also have a post-pubescent voice though?
I don't know who the girl in the video was, but that 'Kikyo' outfit is actually just a generic Japanese priestess outfit. A lot of characters wear pretty much the exact same thing: Rei/Sailor Mars from Sailor Moon, Motoko from Love Hina, I think there's instances were Ramma 1/2 characters do... I've always loved the look of it though. =D
But anyway, I'm glad the new Abridged season has finally started. So far so good. You should watch the new episode soon. ^^

Yea in the first few minutes there was one time that would have been funny - had it not already been done 30 times.

Maybe, I just remember it was irritating which wouldn't make something like it being the right age as obvious unless I was thinking about it. Yea, YGO is not something I ever liked for the voices though (it's the children's card games of course! Hehe). Even if some are better in the sub, which I've only seen a few times, none of them have ever really stood out to me. Although I think that's how I feel about most shonen series, they just don't care about the pretty, hehe.

Mkay, just wondering. I mean the hair made it evident it wasn't Kikyo but wasn't sure who it was. Never got into Sailor Moon or Love Hina (the first because of no interest, the second because I just didn't), and I don't really recall seeing it in Ranma 1/2, although I still have about 10 episodes left. Plus the videos and ova so idk, maybe it's somewhere in those. I guess Kikyo's sister wears it too now that I think about it, but of course it's not exactly flattering on an old hobbit like lady, so that is of course deleted.

I'm working on it, but I must of course obey the OCD and watch everything in order. Including giving the misc fluff a chance - but because I'm so far behind obviously I'm just skipping if it's crap. I probably woulda finished VM in a time when I didn't have 15 other videos to watch but now with so much quantity it's coming down to quality.

Exactly. XD
For me, most dub YUU*GI*OU voices have been atrocious, where's most sub ones have been about average. I really like Shizuka's, Jounouchi's, and Yuugi's voices, but then Kaiba's, Mokuba's, Honda's, and Anzu's aren't that great. I am also quite fond of Mai's and Malik's though. So yeah, definitely heard better voices in different anime series.
Haha, I luvs Sailor Moon so much. XD Not something I could see most anime fans getting into at our age, but something that you just love because you grew up with it. It's actually a pretty crappy series when I look back. As for Love Hina, I don't personally think you'd care for that. It's a harem anime, with the typical nerdy guy being hit by a bunch of girls for accidentally seeing them naked. Motoko, the earlier-mentioned girl in the priestess outfit, was pretty much one of the only things I liked about that series, and the only reason I watched the entire thing was because I was sick in bed for a few days right after my sister had lent me the DVDs, and had nothing else I could manage to do for entertainment. As for Ramma, I only vaguely remember the outfits, but it might've just been Japanese-style fighting outfits that were similar that I'm thinking of. Plus, most of my experience with Ramma is the manga, so it could've only been in that as well.
Totally understandable. XD Though I demand that you watch the Leather Pants video all the way through, because it is just spectacular.

Yea and the majority of characters you named with better voices I either dislike or am indifferent too, so reading (when I don't like to read during visuals because I like to stare at my characters) for no merit isn't something I enjoy. Unlike say Host Club. It's so pretty, I so just want to stare and not have to read, BUT UGH DUB VOICES AWFUL!!!!!!!!!! SO SO SO BAD!! I mean even Vic Mic-nog-a-non (or however LK says it, hehe) is not a good Tamaki. Usually I love him, but not as Tamaki (although he's better than ALL the other atrocious voices in that). So that I'll read, it is definitely worth reading even though I'd rather just stare at the pretty to not put up with those dub voices. But yea, none of the YGO voices for characters I actually want to not sound annoying bother me. Most YGO characters I do find annoying (apparently I like to be annoyed, because I still really loved the show, haha) so the voices just seem fitting to me.

Yea, I mean I tried to get into it when I was younger because I loved the theme song so much (the only reason I ever watched it was because I thought, hmm, doubt the song has played yet, so I'd watch until the song played and then switch channels. I only saw the end of an episode if I was wrong and the song had come on already) but it was just not my thing. That kind of theme/plot has just never been my thing in my entire life.

I don't want to think of myself as misogynist, more as most female characters get a bad rap/role. Given that, I don't like too many female anime/cartoon characters, which is why I tend to gravitate away from series where they are the heavy majority.

Yea, I'll finish the Ranma anime, but like Inuyasha, the manga is WAY too long. I just probably won't have the time so don't want to get invested. FMA will probably be the longest manga series I get into, it's supposed to end soon so hopefully it won't get past 30, if it gets that far. After that (and Loveless, which I can't imagine dragging on that far, if it doesn't stop all together *cries*) I won't start an in progress manga series, at least I won't start buying one. I guess I am in OHC. This way if it gets to be too much I can just give up. I really do want to get back to OHC though, just can't remember where I left off when my computer had to be restored and have been too lazy to go through my junk files, because I know I have notation of it somewhere. But ugh, work!

Ok, well if it isn't too retarded in the first 2 minutes (and I mean like the whole thing is v****a every other word, that's just stupid) I probably would. I usually watch all the YGO/TAS type videos all the way through, it's the other stuff I'm too impatient with. That monologue one though was just a disappointment. Especially considering how awesome a source it's touting there.

For me I think I disliked almost every dub YUU*GI*OU voices so much that it made it difficult for me to enjoy the show. XD I don't find most characters annoying via personality, but their voices were just... ugh... plus I couldn't stand how much the dub messed up plot-wise and how much they censored. It just wasn't an option for me not to watch the Japanese. It was just so different and darker and I totally got a different feeling from it than I did the dub.
Haha, the theme song is pretty awesome, I'll agree on that. XD
Yeah, cartoons in general seem to really struggle in creating interesting, likable female characters. But growing up on Sailor Moon and Card Captor Sakura, I think I became better at finding some depth in female characters, and they grow on me more easily now. I still tend to like male characters more, but just by a bit.
Ha, I remember reading the Ramma manga up to like volume twenty and just being like, "...it doesn't even seem close to ending yet... how much of this is there?" and then I couldn't find continuing volumes so just kind of gave up. I don't mind long series, but having to give up in the middle like that does make me sad.
Well... it is pretty retarded, but in the awesome, hilarious way. XD

Yea see I mainly still have my association with YGO as the dub. I mean the manga was ok, but I still like the dub way better. And probably because I didn't get into YGO as a different dark show, I got into it as a ridiculously hilarious "children's" show. With interesting characters. But yea I've heard how the plots messed up, and I guess I can see it between the manga and the dub. I guess I'm just one of those people that actually prefers the messed up dub version, it amuses me. I might also like the sub if I ever had time for that (not likely), in a different way, but I can't assume in a better way. Just at the time that was the YGO that was perfect for me. Of course now TAS it's what's perfect for me. xd

Yea, like Chrono Crusade is one of the rare examples I have in which my favorite character is a female. Sister Rosette is totally awesome, and actually most of the other female characters in that are just ridiculously awesome as well. And with FMA I do have a rather love/hate relationship with a lot of the female characters. In general I think there are a lot of great characters in FMA so kudos to that, the love/hate mostly comes in the ridiculous "relationship" role they play. It's not even that I hate the pairings just that sometimes they lead to ridiculous actions that just piss me off. So yea there are definitely female characters I like, and series where I prefer them, but I'm rather harsh on them at first I must say and they really have a lot to live up to. So sad, kind of like real life. Men can get away with so many more flaws, but their flaws are less likely to make me want to beat things with a shovel. I apparently will take a b*****d over a ditz any day. stressed rofl

It's probably online now, but yea, I wouldn't mind them except I'd hate getting really invested and then being unable to find it, or it doesn't ever end. And a lot of long series like Naruto and Inuyasha are just too full of fluff. See Ranma is all fluff, so actually that's ok. But I couldn't devout the time to a serious series that is so chock full of fluff, mainly because freetime isn't something I have in abundance. Again once a series is complete I'll think about it, but the longer it drags on the more suspect I'll come. These days I'm definitely going to lean towards the anime first with a long manga series, and if I love the anime then I'll consider trying the manga (I can take fluff better in anime more than in manga, just because it's faster to get through).

As long as it's awesome and hilarious that is fine. Maybe I'll get to it next week. I'll have more free time and I just finished my visa application today. Now to just pray it gets accepted and I can get out of here come fall. stressed sweatdrop

I think I saw the underlining of dub YUU*GI*OU back when I first watched it, the hidden original plot and theme, and that was definitely what I preferred in anime. For the most part, I watched American cartoons for the goofiness, and anime for the seriousness, and I could tell YUU*GI*OU had that. It ended up becoming my favorite series of all time, so obviously the Japanese had the type of theme that appealed to me.
I don't think I really tend to make females work harder to gain my approval; I just think that so many of them are already so stereotyped and shallow compared to the males that they don't end up appealing to me as much after I give each character a chance. Granted, there's still tons of female characters I love, and a good handful of series where my favorite character is female.
Haha, yeah, it just seems too difficult to get into longer series anymore; I don't have the time to watch them that I used to. XD It's been forever since I've gotten really into a new, super-long series. I do enjoy fluff regardless though; it just depends on if I have the time for it or not.
Good luck.

Yea I probably don't get into a lot of American cartoons because it's really hard for me to get into goofy, I don't a lot, which is probably why I appreciated Yuu-gi-oh for the soft crack aspect with enough depth for intrigue. It's one of the few fun relaxing things I get into, I'm usually much too serious.

That's true, they are, and so I'm just generally biased. I am mentally preparing myself for the shallow stereotype before it even begins, and then when it does come I'm still disgusted but not surprised and can just brush the character aside. There are still many women I like, but yea I'm just ridiculously harsh on them, which isn't their fault. They can't help what sick sexist bastards their creators are. *sad head shake*

Exactly, I don't dislike long I just don't have time. And I don't want to get invested in something I can't finish, because that is sad.

I said this elsewhere but it got accepted. Thanks for the good wishes though! smile
