I just read about the new Lara Croft, and apparently (according to Yahoo! News), production is shifting from Paramount to Eidos itself. Now, we've all seen how video game companies handle movies (I'm looking at you, Degeneration and Advent Children!!), so I don't know whether or not this is a good thing.
And eh. I just can't see Megan Fox as Lara. Not that she isn't hot enough, but... really, imagine her with a braid. Jolie with a braid anyday. razz
Actually, you know who I might wanna see with a braid as Lara... Talisa Soto (Kitana from the two MK movies). She looks kinda like Lara, but her skin's just a little dark. Though, I can't say it wouldn't be beyond Lara to get a tan every once in a while... razz
Edit: It says that they're changing her origins. Aka, she probably won't be from an English aristocracy. Wtf. That's what Lara is. Her mansion is part of her. D:
Well, except for in the beginning of Underworld... >_>;

I'd like to see Talisa play Lara... but I dunno if they'd go for it.
