I can't live without Horror movies, especially ones with a lot of gour in them.
I've seen so many that I don't get scared at most.

I don't get scared by them because they are not real. The couple that are based on actual happenings are uberly dramatized. And I don't really care to watch them either since the whole appeal is to scare you, which it doesn't me, and blood and gore was never a real seller to me even before I became "religious".
Personally, I don't really see what all the appeal in blood and gore is really all about. Some dark things can be pretty appealing but uber-dark with uber-violence? I think some violence makes for good action but what action is in watching someone being hacked or sawed into pieces and bodily organs skewed all over the place? That reminds me of ero guro which is something else I don't seem to understand what the appeal is.

Well there's a reason many critics call movies like Saw and such "Murder Porn". I personally find it to be quite distasteful and disgusting. I mean it desensitzes people to real violence, and would encourage it. This is also about the enjoyment of prolonged human suffering. Not only that, but let's not forget that one of the earliest horror movies, Texas Chain Saw Massacre Original, had a REAL DEATH SCENE. A woman REALLY DIED for that movie. Let's not forget that horror movie where a guy has that thing where he posts real people dying on a web site and people pay for it. The more people logged in the faster they died, and you can't tell me those kinds of movies wouldn't make that a reality. stare

What do you mean a woman really died? eek I can't find any sources on the interwebs and it's driving me crazy. >_<

I've been looking on the internet to...not just for that video, but for others...and I can't seem to find anything on it. I was told that the original had a real death...but it seems like they were wrong >.<

I think you might be referring to one of two possible things.

TCSM is based on a true story, and when they tried to apprehend the suspect someone (think it was a cop) was video taped getting killed.

Or it might have to do with the chick who survives in the movie. There is a scene where she runs from Leather face with a bloody face, and gets help from a trucker. Some of the blood is her real blood because she got cut.

Well you could be having nightmares, and I'm pretty sure you dream. Just because you don't remember dreaming, doesn't mean you don't. Dreaming isn't just pretty images, it's a form of processing that goes on during the night. Unless you've got some hard scientific evidence...yeah...

People don't HAVE to dream ya know, I do dream every now and then and remember it clearly, but I DON'T dream more then I DO dream

Meh. Still seems suspicious. Also I would like to ask...does anyone notice how the new Halloween items resemble Hallow Ichigo? ninja

You "dream" every night in that your brain always goes through the same re-processing stage [unless something is wrong with you ]. You just don't always remember your dreams. Also, if you have more anxiety during the day [such as if you worry about things excessively], you'll dream more [and probably remember them more] because your brain is trying to tie up things you've been worrying about. I suppose this would occur if you've just watched a really scary movie too [and that's why your dreams always seem so relevant to what you've been thinking about/going through during the day...at lest in my case].

I have a problem with this, because when you dream too much your brain becomes chemically depleted and you wake up tired no matter how much sleep you get. ^^' It sucks.

I have the kind of dreams you remember quite often, never been tired when I woke up unless it was one of those dreams/nightmares where you never stop running from something. I really hate those kinds of dreams and usually they are some very bizarre ones. Then again, most of my dreams are rather bizarre.

if stress and anxiety cause more remember-able dreams, then why do I never remember them then? but if the "dreaming too much keeps you tired" thing is true, then I must dream cuz I'm always tired no matter how much I sleep

Well, you may be more likely to remember them, but it isn't a guarantee. ^^' I wake up all the time really tired without remembering my dreams...but I remember them at least half of the time. Maybe it's just me. biggrin

Don't ask me. I don't study dreams. I only told everyone how mine are. Though if stress and anxiety are the cause of dreams then I must have a lot of that. I get visual dreams often. Though more are more of the fun type. Some of them are so good if I wake up I force myself back to sleep to continue it.

Hmmm Halloween Candy!

I went trick or treating last night, I got lots of good stuff ^_^ I also snitched some of my little cousin's candy because he acted like his bag was to heavy and made me carry it.

Speaking of Dreams I had a weird Simpsons Dream that I woke up from this morning.

I was bart, trying to keep my job making candy for some guy, and He offered the Family a Huge hoggie meat patty for payment. He said that it would feed the house (family). Well Homer laughs and tries to brush it off as bragging.

Homer: [laugh] you said that would feed the house, that would...

then he sees it in the oven, it was almost as big as the oven rack. Homer put his hands on his head and said

Homer: HOLY GOD THAT'S A BIG MOTHER****ER!

Then I woke up. I'll try to find a clip of Homer that portrays how he acted before seeing the giant meat patty.

GAH!!!! F***KIN GAIA DID IT AGAIN!!!

I was given a Oh My Gumball last year, and it was worth quite a bit of gold. They decided to give them out again this year and they went from being in the 30 thousands to being in the 12 thousands!

Why does Gaia keep screwing us over!?!?!? If i would have known they were going give out Oh My Gumball again I would have sold mine. I could have gotten the murder case IE

Anyone know where one can find a complete listing of the event items? I found the event itself too lame and tedious to participate in, but it'd be neat to see if any of the items are worthwhile...
