Living wrote it how it's pronounced in Japanese.
R's are sometimes rolled into an L, so you can spell
it with an R or with an L, and it's the same word to us
Americans. ._.;
I think.

I know. :3 I've been on-off studying Japanese for about a year. I'm hoping to take Japanese 101 and 102 at the local college near my house.
In my opinion, Japanese R's are shaped like the English L but still sounded out as R's. If that makes sense. It's the conclusion I came to after listening and mimicking J-Idols saying their names. xD
Basically, shape the mouth like your saying "La" but instead push out a R sound. I'm probably making no sense.

@Kaa: xD Within the past 5-6 months I've taken an interest in Asian men. Admittedly, I wasn't watching their lips, I had my eyes closed and tried to focus really hard on their voices. If I was watching them I'd never learn anything. rofl
