Jarian Base of Operations ^Clan^

"Yeah, yeah, just don't get your undies in a bunch if we run into something scare." Mila motioned for Neon to follow, then began scurrying quickly to the dropship.

Seeing now they finally had a moment alone, Viva turns and looks at Lutia with concern.

"Ma'am, no offense meant but, are you sure your up for this ma'am?"

Lutia looked at Viva for a moment, her expression closley guarded. Though Viva was one of her most trusted Jarians she dared not confide in him what she discovered.
"I will have to be."
She said vaguely before following Neon and Mila down the corridors and into the dropship.

Viva nods at her response and turn and heads to the lobby heading for the Island resort to oversee fleet deployment.

The dropship started up with a hum of its engines and headed through the Jaeian gateway that appeared on the roof of a skyscraper.
Off it went to the source of the signal.

Blaize stood in front of the Jarian Base of Operations. And this.... Is where my assassin training sets in. "Hey Ravyn.... You got any stealth training....?" Blaize looked at the other girl, grinning.

Ravyn looked at Blaize curiously. "Yeah...Why?" She asked sternly. She didn't want to go breaking the law! But...this was a Clan...even where she was from, she learned about the Clans. She knew that, while they acted like it, they did not rule the city. She put on a small smile. "What have you got in mind?"

"We need to figure out some of their defenses..... If it's a clan, they probably have the money for some pretty serious stuff...." Blaize smiled, walking forward and examining the door. Strange wood..... Wonder if it burns....? Blaize placed her hand flat on the smooth wood, heating it up to try and burn it. Smoke rose, but nothing seemed to be happening.

"Money, huh?" Ravyn mused. Money was boring, but necessary. She watched as Blaize put her hand on the wooden door and rose an eyebrow at the smoke raising from it. "Here, let me try something." Ravyn said quietly while moving towards the handle. "If they have a lock, I can probably pick it. Depends on what kind of course." She found the small lock, it looked old and simple. Probably because they have some pretty high tech stuff inside... She silently thanked her teacher for showing her the trick to picking locks when she put the thin tip of her blade into the keyhole. She turned her blade sharply in the lock and heard a click. "Gotcha!" She turned the handle with her spare hand and let it swing open slightly. "You can thank me later" Ravyn said with a smug grin.

"Ahh.... Be careful... They may have made the door simple, because it sends an alert that someone is entering.... In any case we can expect better stuff inside." Blaize walked past Ravyn cautiously, testing the floor with a little of her weight before actually stepping inside.

Ravyn nodded solemnly, joking time was over. "Alright, I'm right behind you." She followed Blaize's steps, blades ready in case some silent alarm was set right when she opened the door.

Record the artificial spirit was in the entrance hall when the two assasins managed to break in. Fading out of sight, she floated towards one of the walls and activated one of the hidden switches that activated the defenses.

The front door sealed shut behind them, trapping them inside. Next the twenty feet of ground in front of the opposite door dropped down, creating a chasm.
Finally the walls stretched out and the nano machines that made up their structure formed into machine guns that hummed to life before blasting away at the intruders.

Record shook her head in amazement, wondering who would be either bold or foolish enough to break into the Jarian base.

Blaize squeaked, tossing out her hand in a wide arc as if to stop the bullets. Flames followed creating a sort of bubble around the two. No one could tell, but the flames were pretty close to super nova. "They're seriously trying to kill intruders....... The floor gap wouldn't be a problem.... But machine guns.....?"

Justice scurried into the base with the flamingo, both of them salivating at the thought of some form of sea food in a sandwich. "We're hooooome." Justice declared as he noticed no one was there. "Hello?" This was odd. The feline paid no mind and made his way to the kitchen. He hadn't been there for the machine guns or the fire bubble.

"Holy crap! What the hell?!" Ravyn yelled while skidding to a stop behind Blaize. She closed her eyes to wait for the bite of the bullets when it suddenly became very hot. "Wah-what ARE you?" She asked while looking up at Blaize with caution and suspicion waring with her fondness for the strange girl.
