a.k.a. Myth It didn't take him long to notice the ruckus. Looks like whenever Felicia is out cold by external factors her guardian takes over? Unbreakable chains wrapped around her and the table." Hey guardian, calm down. This is her body and not yours. You may live beside her but don't try to take over when she doesn't want to. A guardian is supposed to protect and not cause problems or increase the danger for the one she is protecting! You cut down innocent people, you have made Felicia an enemy for the MRD." Dean spoke loud and heavy." Now stop causing trouble for her."  Felicia Carter

As they heard the voice speaking. Kerana's need to protect overwhelmed Felicia. Her body shifted fully to the Guardian form. She growled and snapped at Myth. The chains held her tightly as she struggled. Felicia didn't understand if this Myth wasn't a threat why would he chain her down as he did. To her it was apparent that he would hurt Felicia if she did not act. She couldn't talk, only growls and yelps.

Sebastian walked over to the table and stood next to the steadily shifting body. "Felicia, can you hear me? Felicia, it's me, Professor Arkain. You're safe now. Can you calm yourself? Sebastian held both hands in plain sight as he moved them up, showing he was unarmed. "You see? We are unarmed and will not harm you." He moved one arm over her face in a somewhat desperate attempt to show he meant no harm by allowing her to bite him. If it worked, she would tell there was no malicious intent in the room. And if she did bite, she'd simply recognize Sebastian as unafraid and truthful. The injury would matter little to Sebastian.

Dmitri raised a brow at Dean's explanation and when he offered to let Dmitri wonder as he pleased so he could waste time reading up on fashions. "Yeah," he said about Cassie's sense of fashion, "I remember she freaked out pretty bad about me breaking her glasses-something about them being Prada or Gucci or whatever... of course considering the after effects maybe it was because she lost her glasses more than the name brand. And, not that it really matters, I figure she has more interests than just fashion. Just like her brother doesn't waste all his time hooking up and working as the leader of the Brotherhood."
"And, I figured as much of you, even without your power. I mean, Cassie was able to break my nose once and she doesn't have the natural reflexes I do, and you are one of her teachers," He sighed as he followed Dean. "I have no intent to 'start anything'. Wouldn't exactly serve my cause of winning points with Cassie, now would it?"
That was when he noticed the shift with the shape-shifter. Something about a guardian? He considered attempting to disable her power but that would only keep her stuck in the form she was-and it looked like he was in her most dangerous form already. Dmitri stepped back as the two professors tried to deal with the situation. It wasn't like he had a need to be involved, and his powers wouldn't really help, anyways. Crossing his arms he leaned against the wall, waiting with a raised brow and a small frown.
At least the X-men were letting him stay, but he really had no use to be here, did he? Cassie was in Genosha with the big brother with what he considered a borderline creepy complex. And, the main reason he wanted to join the X-men was to try to support Cassie and probably win points. And, a slight bit because he was getting bored with being locked up. At least he wasn't locked up anymore, right?

The beast got the message, through Sebastian's actions that he wasn't a threat. The creature merely sniffed him taking in his scent. However her wild green eyes caught sight of My†h she started to growl and bare her canines at him. He was the one that attacked before he's the one that's the threat in this room.

Emma Frost  Scott Summers had returned to the office and was currently sitting in front of the computer looking through various news articles on the change of MRD leadership and the announcement made by Jason Ritcher. Emma, meanwhile was standing by the window with two slender fingers resting on her temple as she looked out on the Xavier School grounds. She frowned as she sensed the thoughts of those in the mansion. The slight confusion Sebastian Arkain had gone through for a short while. The irritation and doubts of Dmitri Kovac. Dean Nixon's firm control he attempted to reign on the others. The new girl Tristan's attraction to Felicia. Even, Scott's grim focus as he read through articles. But, what caught Emma's interest the greatest was the mind of Felicia Carter. Better, the duality and battle within the girl's mind. There was a more forceful presence in the girl's mind. A more vicious and self protective than the quieter and gentler Felicia Carter. The stronger the aspect of the girl's mind was taking lead. Emma closed her eyes and her brows narrowed as she focused on Felicia's mind and her brow raised slightly as she sensed the tense debate between Felicia and the guardian part of her mind. A split of personalities to the point they were in essence two very different people within one body. The fiercely protective part of her mind was called Kerana, Emma realized as she brushed against the mental presence of the guardian personality within Felicia's mind.
Kerana. Felicia. Please listen. Over exerting yourself will only make the chains hurt more and give us further reason to feel the need to restrain from you, despite how much it pains me to do such. This is Emma. Emma Frost. I am a friend, a protector. I want to help you and welcome you, Emma said her own presence in Felicia's mind making a more active appearance as she made telepathic content and provided a proper introduction of herself to the two. As Emma focused on making contact with Felicia, Scott glanced up and frowned at Emma's focused expression. Instead of saying anything he merely returned to the article he was reading on the computer. If Emma needed his help, she would tell him. It was most likely best he did not get involved unless told otherwise, Scott had decided.

The argument continued then Emma made her presence known. Felicia grew more worried.
Kerana roared, You! STAY OUT! I'm her protector! The beast was about to begin her asault.
Felicia called out, NO! EMMA LOOK OUT! I CAN'T HOLD HER BACK! Felicia tried very hard to hold her by the tail. Please! Stop!
WEAK! Kerana slashed Felicia back away. You're too trusting! I have to protect us both! Kerana pounced at Emma.

Emma Frost Emma sighed as Kerana lashed out and turned from her office's window, slipped off her white blazer, dropped it on the desk and walked out of the office heading towards the med bay. As she headed there she answered to Kerana and Felicia, Trying to physically lunge out at a psychic not even in the room, is far from wise Kerana. Especially when you are chained down... you will only get yourself hurt...By that time she entered the med bay where Felicia was on the table, Dean Nixon, Sebastian Arkain, and Dmitri Kovac were all present. She looked over to Felicia struggling and then to the others and said, "Dean, Sebastian, Dmitri... can you all leave? I will handle the situation from here. This is a job better suited for my talents." She then walked to the table and shifted to her diamond form and said quietly aloud to Felicia and Kerana, "Darling, I am going to release you from the table. As a precaution I am staying in this form... therefore I will be able unable to contact your thoughts. Kerana, do you care to speak to me? Perhaps we can come to an agreement... right, Kerana?"

Sebastian turned as Emma entered the room. "Headmistress, I think it would be prudent if..." he was about to prtest leaving, but after looking at Emma's face, he stopped speaking. Wordlessly he exited. Emma's telepathic abilities may have had no effect on him due to the Lazarus Drug, but Emma was still very intimidating without them. Besides she was his boss anyway.

Kerana growled she wanted to lounge at Emma but something was wrong. All the shifting her body had done during the course of their argument had drained her body so much, as Felicia warned. All the beast could do now is only growl in disagreement.

When Emma entered he frowned a bit, he had heard of her-a pretty powerful psychic. Then again, she was the one who had given the ultimate okay that he could stay. He turned to leave after Sebastian and raised a brow when Emma switched to her diamond form no longer sensing her psychic powers. Shaking his head, Dmitri entered the hallway and leaned against the wall and glanced at Sebastian, "So what's the story with the shapeshifter? I didn't think you had one on your team. At least you guys didn't when I was allowed the information to keep track of that sort of thing. I kind of lost touch with what was going on with the outside world for several months, no thanks to Warp... and I suppose Cassie. Of course, Warp might have dumped me with the MRD or somewhere worse if it wasn't for her... guess that doesn't matter anymore."

As she let go of the last restraint she said bluntly, "Kerana, you aren't doing a good job of protecting poor Felicia by tiring yourself so much you drain yourself." Stepping back and shifting to her normal form she continued telepathically, For, even if I wasn't as powerful as I am, I could easily take you down at the moment if that was my intention. Your actions, Kerana, are making you and Felicia easy targets. Control and balance is the only way you are going to be strong enough to protect yourself or Felicia, Kerana. Strength or power means nothing without stamina. And fighting against Felicia's wishes will make you weaker that much quicker Kerana.

Sebastian leaned up against the wall and crossed his arms. "Felicia?" he said. He thought a moment. "She's a relatively new student. I was on vacation when she came in, so I don't know too much. What I do know is that she has minimal control. She can shift to a fox form, and apparently that form as well, yet with no control."

He frowned and said, "Well hopefully Miss Frost... that is her name, right? Anyways, hopefully she can help the shape-shifter, sorry Felicia, out. I suppose I am going to be here for a while so I should start paying more attention to names."
He glanced back at the room where the door was closed and then back at Sebastian, "I still don't approve of how you are dealing with the situation with Cassie, though. Abandoning her like you guys are doing isn't cool. But, I'll wait around and see what you guys are about... She will probably get back here eventually, without you guys, like you said. And, Hell, I'm willing to join the X-men now even, as long as I don't get stuck saving a bunch of MRD wackos, and you guys are willing to take me in. I don't necessarily hate non-mutants, I just hate the MRD and those sort of people. I am curious how this whole 'everyone gets along' hope of yours is going to play out. And, it'll keep me busy, I suppose, which is always a plus."

Sebastian thought about his own personal gambit with Warp to get Cassandra back. He decided it best not to tell anyone. "We'll get her back." he said and he left it at that. "I can understand the hatred of those who see us as second-class. Not even human, which technically we aren't. The ignorance of others is what spawns hatred, then horrid things happen. World War II, for instance, stemmed from the hatred of Jews, while this war we fight stems from the hatred of homosuperiors. If we can show them that we are just as human as they are, not sick or insane, then there is a chance we can live together normally. We can use our abilities for the benefit of each other, ushering mankind into an age of prosperity. But listen to me, rambling on with my ideological views. I'm like an old man." he thought back to his own struggles with a world that hated him.

Dmitri made a snort, "Yeah, I've heard lectures about World War II and what not. Magneto would give lectures and examples of that sort of stuff all the time. Tell us the PG version of what he remembers and experienced. Probably explains his approach to dealing with the MRD and "human" problem. I mean he was a part of the underdogs once already."
"And, personally, I always kind of thought the X-gene was more of like a human with a genetic mutation or quirk like blue eyes or being a redhead or something. I mean I still consider myself human, just with a weird genetic quirk. Sometimes the quirk is cool or helpful like Warp's, other times it kind of sucks but I don't think it means mutants aren't technically human," Dmitri added with a shrug and then added with a sarcastic smile, "Of course, I wasn't dumb enough to mention that opinion at parties or whatever back in Genosha. Of course, I was only getting a C in biology so I might not be the person to ask on that sort of thing."
He sighed and glanced away before adding, "And, I'd really love to know what 'we'll get her back' means. Myth and the others seem to be under the impression she'll come strolling back whenever she feels like it. Saying 'we'll get her back' implies something else entirely. Don't say things like that you don't mean, because aren't you just going to go along with what Miss Frost decided in regards to Cassie? Let Cassie figure out her own way back."

Kerana growled and gurred, she didn't want to admit that lady dressed in white and the weak one, Felicia were both right and she couldn't fight it anymore. She let go and let Felicia take over. Felicia had a better sense of how tired she was and decided to shift into her fox form that took less energy. Once she finished shifting her head and ears were lowered as she looked up to Emma. I hope I didn't hurt anyone. So tired…so much shifting she thought.
