She pointed to the mini fridge. "I just had it stocked up with Red Bulls, Monsters, you name it."

"Ah, you know me so well." Alcott smirked and headed to the fridge, getting out a Monster. He clicked it open and gulped down a few sips then sighed contently and wiped his mouth with his arm. "Man, I love these." he chuckled as he stared at the can. "I used to be addicted to these before I got cigarettes."

"Eh, Mom never let me drink them. Said there was too much sugar for little old me." Chuckling, she leaned on the chair, staring at the fridge. "I'm still under guardianship, so I'm still not allowed."

A Red Bull was tossed her way. "I'm your guardian now, and with what we've just been through, I'm sure a sugary drink won't hurt." Alcott said with a hidden smirk.

Michaela immediately opened it and took a sip, grinning. "It tastes amazing...and I already feel energized!"

"Yeah but don't go too wild. Red Bull comes with crashes." Alcott grunted, hiding his smirk at how childish she looked with her energy rush.

"Crashes? Does it make you run into walls or something?" she asked, pursing her lips and tilting her head.

He gave her an are-you-serious look before chuckling again. "A crash is when you suddenly run out of energy, usually comes from Red Bull." He took another swig of his drink. "But you'll understand it better in a few minutes."

Pouting, she placed the Red Bull on the table and sighed. "All of a sudden, I'm turned off to energy drinks." Michaela sat on the bed, suddenly smiling brightly at him. "You know what I love? Hot chocolate when it's raining out."

He gazed out the window. "Well.... It's not raining, and this hotel doesn't come with hot chocolate."

"Then I guess we have to go to Starbucks!" she beamed, standing up abruptly.

Alcott finished off his drink and was crinkling the can in his fist when he heard her. "Hmm? Know where it is?" he asked, because he wasn't quite sure where they even where at the moment.

"You're the guy, you should know!" she said, tugging at her silk pajama shorts. "Besides, I'm no good with directions."

He groaned. "Fine, but let me tell you this: You already hate my driving, imagine me driving while looking at a map."

Michaela shivered, visibly petrified and repulsed by the idea. "Alright, fine, I'll figure out the directions. We have to go by the mall first and get me clothes. I can't wear this during our whole 'escape from the enemy' thing."
