Gretchen stumbled upon Masika and Larusa, (I am assuming they are about town not at x-men institute) she slowed down as she saw them. “Tempest?” she said softly noting the Larusa girl holding her up, “s**t,” she cursed running towards them and helping Larusa hold Masika up. She was tall not as tall as Polaris but still tall and strong from sword fighting, “what the hell happen?” she snapped at Larusa, “aren’t you Sumina’s sister? Oh great Sumina did this didn’t she? That girl is way out of control.” ---------------------------------------- Kitty finally made it into town it was still early, she had a cup of coffee in her hand from the small diner who recognized her immediately despite having only stopped once. She chatted with the hostess and waitress for a few minutes while waiting on her hot caramel coffee with milk. They were shocked to hear who her aunt was and referred to her as ‘that old crab?” before they realized it. It only made Kitty laugh and agree with them ‘yup that one’. Now she was walking about the small town learning where the shops were, food places, movie theatre, etc. She saw some police cruise roar by her with sirens blaring and briefly wondered what happened before continue on her way. She finally came up to a hospital, looking up at it she shivered. She was terrified of hospitals since she was a child and, she shook her head clearing it of its thoughts. The hospital was large but plain and simple on the outside, a side entrance revealed where ambulance came and went, a large sign pointed to the direction of the ER, another sign for maturity and another for visitors and parking. A standard hospital which looked clean, safe and almost inviting to anyone but to Kitty it looked dark, menacing, forbidding and dangerous. She hated hospital and she wouldn’t even step into the school clinic. Nosocomephobia her shrink had called it, her shrink who had to come to her house for her session because she couldn’t even walk into physicist office. She who took six months to even meet her shrink, all the sessions had been done over the phone because she was also terrified of doctors of any kinds. The first time she had met her shrink had been peeking into the living room where the woman was and talking to her from the hallway for another two months before she would even step into the same room. And medical doctors…forget it, her mother had to take nursing courses and get a certificate so she could take of her medical wise such as giving stitches when she hurt herself playing or from a broken arrow string, draw blood to send to the labs for routine bloodwork, giving her check-ups and consult with a doctor over the phone to get medications for when she was sick. She wondered by her mother had never hated her for all the trouble she put her through. Her grandmother had been field nurse in the Vietnam war, so when she had gone to live with her, her grandmother could continue her medical care when needed but it wasn’t often, she rarely had gotten sick and she learned how to stitch and patch herself up whenever her bow string snapped or she got injured in a fight at school. Kitty shook her head clearing it of its current thoughts and turned her back on the hospital feeling its presence against her back as she walked away.

Larusa blinked when a new girl ran over, picking Masika up. "Um she just passed, out... Wait you know my sister?! Do you know where she is?" She asked franticly, momentarily forgetting about Masika. ((Eh.... Short... Can't think...))

Gretchen shrugged, “ya we live together but no I don’t know where she is at the moment probably somewhere with that David guy if I had to guess. Look we need to get Tempest here back home to her people. I can help you get her to the gates of her home and after that those who live with her can help. I am not allow on her property. And why are you so fixed on your sister, doesn’t she like hate you?” Gretchen adjust Masika slightly to make it more comfortable for the both of them to share her weight and get her back to the x-men institution where she hoped she wasn’t jumped on and taken prisoner. Brotherhood and X-men didn’t have a good history and they wouldn’t understand why she of her people was helping one of the x-men students.

Larusa helped Gretchen carry Masika. "We didn't part on the best of terms, but I want to try and make up with her. I didn't know that she hated me..." She said, adjusting Masika in her arms. Larusa was not strong in the slightest. She wondered how she was going to get Masika from the gates to the Institute.

David E. Warner A.K.A Grizzly -------------------- David looked at Sumina. His heart didn't skip a beat. He didn't take a breath in. Nothing. "She tried to bring the police here." David said, truthfully enough. "She thought if she could get the cops to find us, she could 'get me back'. But when I said I was going out with you and wasn't coming back, she ran off in tears. You said Sam was the one who hurt me, right?" He asked.
Victor looked down at the cuffs. He wasn't going to be able to break free from these. But that hardly mattered. He'd be freed in due time. "I'm not screwing with anyone. Not in the slightest. Heheheh..." Victor said, leaning back slightly to get into a more comfortable position. Victor wanted to say something about Vincents overconfidence, but figured a statement like that would only serve to help the X-men. It would all be clear soon enough.
Please, come in. A familiar face is here with me, though she can't hear what I say. Only you can. The voice said to Sam. -------------------- Ferocity / Control

Sumina nodded slowly, that was what she said, but not all of it was correct. "I did say someone hurt you, but I never said it was Sam. I said a girl that you got close to hurt you." She said, standing up and walking over to David. "Release the walls. I want to access your mind and don't worry. I won't try to turn you again. I can't make someone do something they don't want to do." It was half right, if something went completely against someone's morals she couldn't compel them to do anything. But if it wasn't a big thing, it could be easily pushed aside.

Gretchen nodded in understanding, “I see. Well the best way to make up with her is living with her though she will probably be pissed at the fact and would probably completely ignore you but with time she will go from ignoring you to maybe talking to you, etc etc plus with group training she wouldn’t have much choice. Also she and you could learn more about each other just by living in the same place even without interaction. I have learned a lot from those I live with just by their actions. Maybe over time your relationship with her can mend. The Brotherhood is a family, we take care of our own and protect each other from the humans who would kill us if they knew what we could do. Polaris saved my life from the humans, I would be dead if not for her. After we drop off Masika at home and safe with her people why don’t you come back with me. I’ll give you a tour and introduce you to Polaris.” Gretchen held most of Masika’s weight as they steadily made their way through back roads and wooden areas to avoid detection to the x-men home.

David E. Warner A.K.A Grizzly -------------------- David pretended to try to take down the barriers for a few moments, then let out a short grunt of disapproval. "I don't think I can. Whoever put them up in the first place should though. Who put them up?" David asked, playing his part very well. The surprising thing was this was true, even if David had wanted to remove them, he couldn't. No telepathic powers. Whoever had torn them down the first time had to be at least an Omega-level mutant. -------------------- Ferocity / Control

Larusa looked hopefully up at Gretchen. "Really? You think they will let me stay? I... I can't do much." She said softly, readjusting Masika. She looked up at Gretchen one more time. "Well, if you'll have me. I'll stay as long as I can until my sister forgives me." She said almost determinedly. She would get Sumina to forgive her.

Sumina rolled her eyes, going back to her seat as two new sets of foot steps came in the room. A woman of 23 stood with a knife in her hand and a glazed over look in her eyes. Next to her was a boy of 10 with a gun in his hand. Sumina looked at David as she crossed her legs. "Find a way to take them down or they die." She said, looking at the two. The woman held the knife to her throat and the boy moved the gun to his head. Sumina wasn't joking. She could care less about the humans, but she knew Polaris wouldn't appreciate blood on her floor, so Sumina would have them move outside before killing themselves.

◦▹❊*◦▹❊*◦▹Sam Summerfall▹◦*❊▹◦*❊▹◦ aka Redemption ▹◦*❊▹◦*❊▹◦ Sing to me of lovely things. Of butterflies and angel wings. . . "Sometimes fate can lead you through least trodden paths," Sam agreed softly when Vincent appeared at her side. "But it's nice to see a familiar face along the way."
She looked at him, glad to see he looked unhurt and not in handcuffs. It would have been a hard thing to explain to hospital staff, even without his miraculous appearance. Looking down both ends of the hall, Sam was relieved to see that his timing couldn't have been better for there was no one wandering about, be they patient or staff.
Sam nodded in response, though she knew the voice would not see the action, and opened the door gently. With a breath for courage, she walked into the softly lit room.

Jean Grey
Jean looked up at the sound of the door opening and was surprised to see two of her students. "Sam? Vincent? What are you two doing here?"

David E. Warner A.K.A Grizzly -------------------- David stared at Sumina for a moment, then shook his head. "Go for it. I can't take them down anyway. Or release them, and I'll do it." David said. To Davids own surprise, he didn't falter when saying that. He tried to think of why he suddenly had such an apathy towards loss of life, thinking back to when he got his memories back. That voice... It was a deep one. Commanding. Authoritative. Could that voice have...?
There, lying in a coma as he'd been since the Senator Kelly Incident, was Charles Xavier. At his side, his faithful student Jean Grey. Welcome Sam. It is good to meet you in person, so to speak. -------------------- Ferocity / Control

Sumina gave an exasperated sigh. "Then go find someone that can." She said, the woman cutting into her throat a little and blood trickling down her neck. The boy lowered the gun a bit as Sumina looked at David. "I'll let the little boy go if you go now." She said, letting the boy go a little and tears welling up in his eyes. She smiled at his fear.

◦▹❊*◦▹❊*◦▹Sam Summerfall▹◦*❊▹◦*❊▹◦ aka Redemption ▹◦*❊▹◦*❊▹◦ Sing to me of lovely things. Of butterflies and angel wings. . . "I'm sorry to intrude miss Jean," Sam said as she stepped closer to the bed Jean sat beside, pulling Vincent by the hem of his shirt with her. She didn't know if he liked physical contact, having become more sensitive to such aversions since her arrival at the institute, but she didn't want him to be left out in the hall.
As she looked down at the sleeping form of the infamous Charles Xavier, Sam recalled all the stories David had regaled them with of his prowess as a powerful psychic and wise man. This man had sacrificed everything so that mutants and human's could coexist. From the moment she had heard of him, Sam had been in awe. And the moment she saw him, though he did not speak his name, she knew who he must be.
"Hi Mr. Xavier," she acknowledged with a shy smile. "It's good to meet you too."
