Yami Takashi Wow this has been a long but productive day. I had to suffer through the diet my mother imposed on me, I gained 10 pounds and she thinks I have to take it off DX I'll just gain it again by thanks giving and Christmas!!! Read if you dare [ Get this the b***h put me on the diet, but she gags and when I ate the Celery with a timid spread of Philly Cream Cheese, and then some Yogurt. She hates both celery and yogurt...damn b***h eating pizza while I'm eating rabbit food and yogurt that Michael Myer's sister sells to get people to take a dump normal!] I also spent the day drawing the most Anatomically/Phsicoligically correct Scyther Pokémon I could today. There are so few official depictions of Scyther. So i spent hours on Google looking at different Scyther pictures and I had to dust off the old Pokémon Gold and Stadium 2 to see a 360 degree 3D rendition of Scyther. Check it out http://yamitora1.deviantart.com/art/Scyther-Pose-A-143316880 It kind of looks like you just mirrored the other side xD Decent work though.

I thought it was well done. I think the problem Chibi has is its not in some sort of dynamic pose, but instead it looks like an action figure.

But yes, generally speaking, dynamic poses make for much better substance in an image, aesthetically-wise. In my opinion.

Also in my graphic design Professor's opinion...but yes, that's pretty much an established view in the design/art world as far as I can tell [even if the pose isn't dynamic viewing a person standing still at an angle is more interesting than looking at them straight on...then it just looks like an image in a Biology textbook]. But I like the Scyther picture...it is indicative of figuring out the Pokemon's design, like in character designs and fashion designs. whee

Monom Momiji Akiko Speaking of Pokemon art, have any of you seen Moemon? Here's an example of it. I though it was pretty awesome, then again I like moe... O.O ... .. . SQUEE!!!! THEY'RE ADORABLE!!!!! I have the games on my M3 DS Real, so I can play them on my Nintendo DS. I have the Fire Red and Emerald fully English versions. Just so you know the games are hacked versions of Pokemon with the Moemon characters taking place of the Pokemon. ^_^ Wish they would do that to Diamond & Pearl.
