I wish I had moneys for a premium account on deviantART. The premium members get better treatment, more page views plus I wouldn't have to worry about this NOV 25 deadline to get a Sky Form Shaymin Journal Skin ready.
The way DA has it set up, you have to not only know CSS coding but also be a premium member to make skins. I guess you could try to do it blindly, but without being able to use your journal as a test and preview it would be extremely hard. Especially since what you see before you submit the skin isn't always how it will turn out. Plus you can't edit a skin after its been submitted.
Oh yeah, I have a new art, Its a Work in Progress of Sky Form Shaymin. ^^

Ayanami Rei First Child Yeah...a lot of places with premium stuff are getting more greedy. That's why I like photobucket But you don't get the same exposure and they make you pay for more bandwidth if you need it.

Well...I guess you DO have a point with that. More exposure IS a good thing. Although I don't get a lot of traffic so I never have to worry about things like bandwidth and such. sweatdrop I guess if I was super famous or a great artist like Cabbit-chan or Uke-chan things might be different ^^;

Its kind of tricky when you are not given a list of what works and what doesn't for their site. I just copy pasted some premade CSS and changed values and stuff. It saved me half the time. I know how to do CSS its just a pain to do from scrap. I had a CSS on my pin drive almost all my college years so i never had to do it from scratch.

I don't have a website anymore and they never mentioned a bandwidth limit. But seeing you only get a gig they really don't need to limit it and a gig's worth of photos is a large amount of photos, so I don't need photobucket. Besides, photobucket does its own resizing and formatting and that ruins a lot of the personal graphics I make.

I've also notice that my Pokémon art is gaining a lot of views. Kind of wish My tenchi art had the same effect. Speaking of which i still need to finish my Mihoshi.
