Seeing Violet's surface thoughts, M asked,"....why 'must' I be clothed around you......" M realized clothing served the purpose of protection and aiding in the sustaining of a particular body temperature, but beyond that clothes had not purpose and were a hindrance to him. M never slept with clothes on because it was uncomfortable. M didn't see why he should be uncomfortable. Every time he socialized with an experiment that was once human, things were not explained or in easily understand terms of black and white. M began to wonder if humans knew anything in certain terms.

When Sabine was confident in her newfound abilities and comfortable in her new form, she began wondering where she should go from here. For some reason, recent memories were vague and scattered; she wasn't entirely sure what she'd been doing for the past few days. She remembered coming here, and several people... but she couldn't bring names or faces to mind. Only glimpses of actions, or things that had been said, or emotions. She remembered a room, and the building it had been in - and she remembered where it was. Maybe she could find someone to help her remember. Sabine, in dragon form, flew between trees through the forest towards the resort; she traveled quickly, and was at the edge of the forest in a matter of fifteen minutes. There she landed and watched the lights of the resort carefully. The building was... there. She'd found it. Something nagged at her - she shouldn't be in this form, though she couldn't remember why. She changed, and sent her wings back, and sent her horns back, and finally she was comfortable walking in among the humans towards the hotel. She sent a mental probe out, not really a thought, just a slight push, to see if there was anyone here she could connect with, anyone she'd previously known.

Sabine felt several minds she recognized, in close proximity to each other. One was very faint; she might have only known the person for a few minutes. The other, though, was strong. This person had been important. why, she couldn't fathom. And she still couldn't bring an image or name to her mind of anyone she'd known here. She was becoming rather perturbed at this fact. She continued into the hotel and up the elevator, towards the minds she'd felt. And soon she was walking down the hallway towards the room she remembered. There was a girl sitting outside the doorway. 'Hello,' Sabine thought to her. 'I - must apologize, but - have you met me before?'

Coaxing the girls into the room, M mentally opened the door and held it wide for them to come in. While he waited for their company, M examined the wall visible from where he was in bed. The patterns on its rigid surface were interesting. They followed no pattern as far as M could see, and yet they still appeared to be of some design that followed a pattern. M realized it was this unclear boundary that could explain all of his interactions with humans. Certain subjects are just beyond finality.

Smelling blood, Leeloo was easily tracked by the predators that began to come out for the night. They were very close and were moving in on their wounded and bleeding target.

Leeloo heard things and her pitch black eyes narrowed. The second most basic human instincts kicked in. Run. The brain pumped andrenalin into the body, and Leeloo stumbled to her feet and limped on, her brain now registering excruitiating pain everywhere. The forest ended and she was in the light of buildings.
Everything confused her, but a shock of pain made her fall to her knees. Renewed tears ran down her face and her brain told her to climb high. It didn't know, it just guessed that would be best. With the approaching of the predators, Leeloo's body agreed. She began climbing and stopped, a few feet from the ground when a bullet in her arm sank further into her flesh. The predators below howled and growled having lost their prey.

Leeloo was close to the third floor when her left hand slipped off. She hung in mid air, grabbling for something to hold on to. Blood dripped on to the pavement, and bloody footprints ran up the wall. Her left hand found the balcony. She took a deep breath and shuddered. Using all her strength, she pulled herself up over the fence and on to the balcony. She lay there for a few seconds before her brain decided it wasn't the best idea to just lie there.

Leeloo crawled to the balcony door and knocked four times. Her breathing was laboured and her body burnt with pain.

Leeloo knocked again, louder this time. Her pitch black eyes were unblinking and her blood soaked into the concrete. She kept knocking and her knuckles were bleeding like the rest of her. The predators howled beneath her. Knock... knock... knock... knock... knock She kept knocking over and over again.
