Raen hissed through gritted teeth as he rolled onto his side, blissfully unaware there was a deep cut that went from his right hip to the middle of his spine from where Kaosu's 'tail' had touched him. He heard a gasp of surprise as he saw Rei support Mairi while helping her stand though he grimaced as he felt Ami's very light touch. "It seems like you two get injured quite often, though how did this happen?" she said with a sigh; the edges of Raen's wound felt hot, which wasn't a good sign.

Mairi let out a strangled sounding scream through clinched teeth, blood dripping onto the floor steadily.One hand pressed hard to her side to try and slow the bleeding, the other holding onto Rei's arm "What happens in the mind happens the the body..It's rare, and usually happens with dreams, and I've never heard of a case where someone was actually injured..." She clinched her teeth again slightly "You must've missed one of the dark shards..." She had no other explanation as to why sh would be bleeding.

Raen winced as he managed to push himself up into a sitting position, though he looked down and noticed shallow cuts on his torso and shoulder with shards of black crystal sticking in his skin. "Seems like I missed more than one, but I had hoped you wouldn't get hurt," he said sheepishly, grimacing as Makoto shifted, pulling him to his feet though he bit back a groan as he felt his body aching immensely. "I've never heard of that before," Ami said carefully. "Maybe it'd be wise to get you two to the hospital... though explaining this may be tough," she said cautiously.

Mairi nodded to Rei and carefully made her way over to Raen "The thought's what counts.." She found the edge of the couch and leaned against it, looking far paler than normal "Most people haven't..It's kind of a taboo to talk about because most cultures consider the ability to be holy." She carefully felt along her own bloody gash and found a few sharp shards "No hospitals...If you can help us get the shards out..I think I can take care of the rest.."

Rei looked unsure as she slowly shifted Mairi's shirt to the side, finding two black crystal shards roughly an inch and a half long and half that wide as well as four smaller shards. She heard Makoto gasp as she did the same. Makoto was startled to find three long half inch wide, two inch long shards impaled roughly a third of their length into Raen's back though there were smaller shards where the crystals had apparently shattered when he fell onto the floor.

Raen shifted as he slowly stretched a trembling arm out, supporting himself as he concentrated, feeling the pain dull.

Mairi reached out carefully and took hold of Raen's hand, keep her own protests silent.A visible silvery aura slithered down her arm to his and seeped into his skin.It wasn't much, be if she kept it up, it'd dull the pain enough for them to pull out the shards "In the medicine cabinate down the hall, there are two sets of tweezers for the smaller shards..The bigger ones you'll have to use a cloth to grip and pull out." She knew it had to be bad, simply from the pairs reactions, and worked not to focus on the distortion in Raen's aura.

Rei nodded as she walked towards the bathroom where the medicine cabinet was before finding a washcloth and two sets of tweezers. She quickly walked back with the items and set them within reach of Mairi and Ami. She walked towards the sink and dampened the cloth with warm water. Makoto picked up and carefully started picking out the smaller shards, feeling the muscles involuntarily twitch as blood trickled out of the gash.

Raen drew energy from the core of his being and sensed the subtle change as an answering flicker of teal-indigo aura flickered, seeping into Mairi's skin quietly.

For once, Mairi was totally thrilled that she couldn't see.She was alright with small amounts of blood, but show her something like her side, or Raen's and it'd be a gag fest.Because, one, she couldn't see the tweezers with her gift, she left them where they lay, and for another, she wouldn't be able to pull the shards out herself if she tried "Take care of him first..He's worse off." She gave his hand a gentle squeeze in thanks for the help and relaxed a tiny bit, keeping up that silver stream.Ginhana whined and paced back and forth, watching intently.

Rei blinked as she had shifted Mairi's shirt aside from the wound when she spoke, lightly wiping away the excess blood. Makoto looked up when Mairi spoke, though she had tugged all but two of the smaller shards out. "Are you sure?" she said quietly, tugging one of the mid sized shards out.

Raen grunted slightly when Makoto spoke, tugging out another shard though he focused, unaware tendrils of silvery flames with indigo tips were flickering at the edges of the wound. Ami picked up the other cloth that Rei had dampened before carefully tugging up Raen's shirt, fighting back a slight blush as she wiped away the majority of the blood before tugging one of the larger shards out with a twitch of her wrist.

Mairi gave a pained smile, wincing and sucking in a sharp breath when Rei wiped away the blood "Perfectly sure.He's a light weight.Let him loose too much and it'll take me days to bring him 'round." As an attempt at humor, it was rather poor at the moment.She focused on Raen's wound, moving the silver aura to the places they'd pulled the shards from already and started to heal them over.

Rei rolled her eyes at the misplaced humor, though she could tell that Mairi was trying to get their minds off of their injuries. Makoto blinked as Ami tugged the other larger shard out before she noticed the silvery aura flickering over the wound, apparently healing it.

Raen focused, manipulating the energy within him so that the indigo flame tips became thicker and a deep shade of jade green, accelerating the healing quite a bit. Ami tugged the other shard out then wiped away the excess blood before she blinked, seeing the same flames though she noticed Makoto shifting and starting to help Mairi in removing the crystal shards. Raen inhaled slowly though he felt the wounds healing more quickly, unaware it was a side effect of Kitai's crimson-blond cohort merging with him and giving him a limited healing factor as well as wind manipulation.

Mairi fell silent, clinching her teeth when Makoto started pulling her shards out.She kept up the healing aura on Raen, knowing that both of them working would make it stick and quicker.He grip loosened slightly and her 'sight' wavered slightly as the pain started hitting her though.She could feel Kártes pushing through, adding what strength he could to keep her awake long enough to heal when the girls were done.Ginhana still paced, an obviously worried look on her face.

Rei wiped away what blood she could as she helped Makoto, though she blinked as she noticed jade green flames with silvery tips flickering at the edges of the injuries on Mairi's side. Makoto tugged a couple of the smaller shards out, leaving the larger shards in as she took both Ami and Rei's cloths and rinsed them out before squeezing the excess water out and coming back.

Raen had his eyes closed, his breathing slow and steady as his aura became subtly warmer as he pushed a bit more energy into Mairi, accelerating her healing though he didn't seem to mind that his own slowed as a result. Ami paused, though she blinked as she noticed the very katana she'd somehow manifested in the soulscape was in her free hand. "Huh? Where did this come from?" she mumbled.

Mairi squeezed Raen's hand slightly and cut of his link to her but kept up her end "Your worse than I am, don't push it.I'll just sleep after.I'll be fine." She fought a second to focus on what Ami was talking about and made out the basic outline of the katana "You created it in your head when you thought you were in danger...You'll figure it out eventually.." She slipped a little in her seat and held back a sigh of relief when the last shard was pulled out.

Rei cocked her head as the flames abruptly winked out, though the wound was a little over halfway healed and the bleeding had decreased significantly. Makoto.

Raen seemed to be in a meditative trance, unaware of what was around him as Ami cleared away the crystal shards and cleaned the gash. Ami blinked at Mairi's explanation, which didn't really explain it that well in her opinion, but remained quiet for the most part. "I'd prefer you to pass out after the wound is healed... not in the middle of it," Raen said quietly. It was obvious he was concerned about Mairi and the Senshi more than himself.
