"I'm trying to help Hael. To my understanding, she isn't." Tabari said with a triumphant smirk.

As Omazige approached, Hael slowly picked up her head. She had been holding Zero in her arms now, their crying fits over, but she wasn't comfortable with approaching the group again. So she decided to just sit down in the forest, away from them.

"...Yes?"  

[Zahzi]

"......I just want to talk...."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

". . .Did I do something wrong?" Hael was suddenly whimpering, quivering her lower lip.
"I didn't mean to make the others cry! Honestly!!"  

[Zahzi]

"Not to worry. I just want to talk. You're not in trouble at all." Omazige said in a reassuring tone, patting her on the head.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...Is this talk because I'm a bad kid?" Hael whimpered, shying from the head pats.  

[Zahzi]

"No. And you're not a bad kid."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Course I am! I'm constantly annoying and-or making someone cry!"  

[Zahzi]

"That doesn't make you a bad kid..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...That's what all the other guardians said..."  

[Zahzi]

"All the other guardians were wrong."

"...What about when they said I was a monster?"  

[Zahzi]

"I can honestly say you are not." Omazige said with a closed-eyed smile.

"...Then what do you want to talk to me about if I'm not in trouble..?" Hael asked, raising her eyebrow. "That's the only reason anyone really talks to me."  

[Zahzi]

".....Perhaps about your past..?"

"...Why do you want to talk about something like that? Even you hate it and you weren't there for any of it."
