Shinobu turned to look at Alice. "Sit down." She said. "You really think, that after all this that there is any hope left in me? My heart.... my heart is killing Guroji, and this one will not last long. The person I love.... heh, the person I love will never love me. I killed many people. In desperate hope that I could save them and be a better person... I killed them. I saved my own life and let them die. I watched them burn. Each one of them. And I was glad. I was glad that they died in my place. Shou... he will not miss me. You will be free to love Shou once I'm gone. Guroji will find a new slave. One that isn't so broken. One that can live without stealing life from others. There is no space for me in this world. Guroji needs me, yes... but spending a life with him, pretending I love him will not make him happy. It will make him worse, because he can see my unhappiness. I almost got you killed. My shadow has left me, because of all the terrors I cause. I killed my family, my friends and others with my selfishness. When I'm gone everyone will be safe again."

Shinobu didn't face Alice. "Another heart transplant would kill you, Guroji and me. This heart is already tainted. Guroji's body is purifying my old heart so that his body can use it." Hearing the comment about learning to love Guroji, Shinobu spun round to face Alice. "You would never understand! A broken heart syndrome patient does not choose to have their heart broken. It's like be able to choose if you're sad about your parents' death! You tell me of the greater life, but I know you resent me for liking Shou. Don't you think I've tried? Don't you think I thought for life through every arrhythmia? Other people would've died at the first one. I fought... I don't deserve to live! Are you killing the only person who loves you? No you're not! Have you killed someone and been glad? No you have not! Have you tried and tried til your heart broke? No you have not! Don't you dare tell me I should try harder or I haven't tried. Don't you dare tell me that before you've been in my position! Trying harder would mean I would kill to save myself! Running is a noble thing to do if it means saving your friends. I don't want Shou to love me if it means forcing him to. I don't want to be loved if it means that people will die! I have chosen death to save you."

Shinobu turned to Guroji. "That is the exact reason I have to leave. You will die if I try to survive. You all will. Guroji, you will break with sadness if this continues. When I'm gone Alice can finally be with Shou in peace. They'll be happy. Guroji, you'll find another slave. One that isn't so... weak. Shou didn't care anyway. It's a win-win situation for you guys."

Shinobu shook her head. "I'm killing you all. I'm not worth it. I should be dead." She whispered and pulled herself further. Pain racked her fragile frame.

Shinobu stumbled further away. "Please... I don't want this.... I almost killed you barely a few minutes ago."

"Well, flower, Guroji really doesn't care. He just wants to love you even after his death. In fact, he would rather let himself die then let you get killed."

Alice put her back against the wall, as she was too tired to stand. "I'm not dying!, were fine Shinobu...I just over did it a little..and if you don't relise by now, I won't let you die...I'll get back up if I have to..you think your a terrible creature, but your not.." she looked up at her, with a smirk, though weakness in her eyes.
