Dark vs. Light

I just shook my head and sat back down on the ground. So much for breakfast, I thought to myself with a sigh.

I thought I was gonna pass out from hunger, "I'm sure that Yuima is still hungry." I said, forgetting about my hunger, worrying about Yuima's health before mine.

"No... I'm not hungry..." I say, my eyes closed... I really wasn't, something about what had just happened making me not want to eat anymore. "Blaze... Go ahead and eat."

I gave him an annoyed look. I wasn't quite hungry anymore either so I threw Blaze the only piece of meat that had survived.

Sensing her growing agrivation, I put my arm around Yoko, and held her close.

Trying not to show how hungry I was a ate the meat as slowly as I could without devouring it like a savage animal.

"How hungry are you Blaze...?" I ask, looking at him with a slight curiosity... he seemed to be straining.

I smile slightly, relaxing a bit as I lean into Knight.

I gently stroked her hair, holding her softly.

"Very, but I still have my dignity, no sense in gorging myself." I told her with a quiet enough voice so Yoko and Knight couldn't hear.

I could feel my anxiety and annoyance melt away. Letting my long hair spill over his shoulders I tilt my head up and kiss him gently.

"Please... Eat..." She said with a soft sigh, kissing his cheek.

I finished the meat and kissed Yuima back. It felt good, the love.

The time has come, I must reveal myself The golden energy dragon thought as he became visible to the children.

I smiled, the smile disappearing as I notice the golden dragon. "Blaze..." I said softly, watching him mystified.

Skyra lifted her head and nodded to the dragon. "Do I begin to translate, Old one?"

"Translate?" I asked but I knew it was a stupid question.

When you are ready. The golden dragon said, but he was no longer energy, he was a now solid living breathing dragon. It surprised him at first then accepted it.
