Iris smiled softly, her eyes shimmering. "you're welcome, Hun." she grinned and then looked down at belyi. "he needs a cradle"  

[Mayah Playah]

"There should be one in the Aqua Room. I'll show you." She started for the Aqua Room, opening the light blue door and showing a light blue room, a white baby's cradle in the corner by the large, white and blue bed. "What do you think?"

{{That settles it then. Hattie's, as of right now, a lesbian. Or at least bi with a preference for women.}}

iris gave a smile and nodded. "this is perfect... She smiled softly and carefully lay Belyi in the cradle. "would you be bothered at all if I stayed here with him for a few days?"

She nodded. "Of course. I've been planning on moving to the Pearl Room anyway." Hattie moved to lift the worn brown suitcase by the closet door, grabbing an old carpetbag on the way.

{{The fun part will be finding a lover for her.}}

"a-alright... But I'm not staying too long... After all, my boyfriend's probably worried about me..." she sighed softly and sat lightly on the bed. There were things she had to straighten out before she saw ray again, one of them being if she could handle all the violence that being with him brought about...

"Alright then." By now she had all of her things gathered and was halfway out of the door. "Tell him I said hello, will you? I still don't like him very much, but it's still polite." With that, she shut the door and went across the hall, throwing her bags on the armchair and falling onto the bed. "God, I'm tired."

"i'll tell him." she smiled to her friend, falling backwards when she was alone in the room. "you little mister, are full of surprises..." she sighed and glanced to where the sleeping Belyi was.

All of a sudden, a screech echoed through the halls, coming from the pearl room.

Iris blinked as she jumped up and ran into the room, a protective shield forming around the infant's cradle as she left the room. "Hattie?!" she called as she neared the room

The house was now silent, much too quiet to be normal. You couldn't even hear the servants bustling around the kitchen.

iris frowned and looked around, biting her lip nervously.

A man's voice suddenly wafted down the hall. 'Iris, go to her...she's in danger...protect my wife...save her before it's too late...'

Iris gave a small frown as she looked around, her eyes going silver as she used her powers to guide her to her friend.

Hattie lay crumpled in a tiny ball in the corner of the white room, her silvery white hair matter with blood. She moaned quietly, her head pounding.

"Hattie!!" iris frowned and dashed over to her friend, gently cradling her friend in her arms.
