Sokka let the soliders drag him off. Everything hurt so much. It was weird considering he hadn't taken much damage from the attacks. He looked behind him and could see the little trail of smoke that came from his village fading into the distance.

Zuko, able to see enough now that everything looked like blurry colorful shapes, followed behind the two soldiers and Sokka, smirking to himself. He had captured his first bender, and there would be more coming soon. The soldiers and the villagers confronted each other, soldiers grabbing random people while others used spears and fishing lines to attempt to fight back. Katara poked her head up from the pile of snow she was in. She saw the direction that Sokka was being taken, so quietly snuck away from the battle and towards that direction.

Iroh could see small red and blue spots from his perch over the edge of the ship. It looked like his nephew was returning now. He wondering what had happened.
Sokka decided to try to escape anyway. The more he thought bout it, the more his people needed him. He flung his arms and legs in every direction, hoping the soldiers would grow weary and let him go. "LEMMEGOLEMMEGOLEMMEGO!" He wailed.

"Stop your struggling." Zuko huffed, suddenly whacking Sokka over the head, though not hard enough to knock him our or make him see stars or anything. He had to admit that he was mildly surprised this person hadn't used any Waterbending to defend himself.

Sokka flinched, letting out a moan of pain. "Isn't it a little bit low of you to attack an unarmed man?!" He spat in retort, still flailing his arms and legs every which way.

"I don't care how "low" my actions are." Zuko retorted, "In the end, every capture leads to the same goal, no matter how "honorable" they are."

"Considering how 'great' the fire nation thinks they are, you'd think they'd have some sense of honor and dignity!"
((... you didn't disarm Sokka...))

((Oh, good point. o.o But you were the one who said "unarmed man..." XD;; Guess we can just pretend that they unarmed him after they captured him... ^^;;; )) "We do, but not in any way that a meer (SP? o.o) peasant such as yourself could ever understand..." Zuko replied arrogantly.

Sokka huffed at that comment. 'Mere peasant?' what sort of rude comment was that?! Who was this guy anyway!? He was walking around, throwing out orders like he was the toughest sh*t in the world. From the looks of things, this guy had it all. He could bend, he had a whole army under command, he was a part of the Fire Nation, royalty from the looks of things, and he had good looks too. Well, aside from that scar... Sokka wondered where he had managed to get a nasty thing like that. His jealousy of the Fire Nation teen seized; at least I don't let myself get marked up that badly... he thought.
At this point he realized his flailing was pointless and he gave up, hoping that he'd get saved sooner rather than later. Either that or perhaps the Fire Nation would realize he wasn't very powerful and let him go.

As the soldiers led Sokka on board the ship, Zuko continued walking behind them, "So tell me..." he began softly, "How many other Waterbenders are there in your village?"

"Huh? Why should I tell you that?! The opinion of a mere peasant is worthless to you. For all you know, I don't know how to count." Sokka stated rather boldly in reply.

"Well, for the pathetic amount of people in your village, there must be so few Waterbenders that even *you* would be capable of counting them out." Zuko replied cooly as he followed his men below deck.

Sokka was too distracted to reply.
They couldn't possibly be... going below deck?! Sh*t, sh*t, sh*t - these fire bending morons weren't playing around! They were really going to make him their prisoner. This was not good.
"Uh.. uh... um, guys! If it's water benders you are looking for, you've got the wrong guy!" Sokka stated, this time obviously nervous.

Zuko snorted, "Quite an odd moment to declare that you are not a Waterbender, isn't it? However, whatever lies you may tell will not save you now." he smirked, "We saw you bending, before our very eyes."

“It isn’t a lie!” Sokka declared sincerely, “I mean, I’ve never actually waterbended in my life. Today must’ve been a fluke! The tides were really crazy today, and I mean no wonder, what with you guys and your big ships creating all those nasty waves. You were practically asking for non water bending folks like me to be totally framed for something we obviously didn’t do! I mean come on!!!”
