Meanwhile, the Dark Guard and the rest of the Asgard fighting force had already returned and spread the news of their great victory over Cruxis. Rumors flew like wildfire.
"The leader of the Cruxis Five Grand Cardinals is dead!"
"Pronyma...? Killed by outsiders? Where is Chief Mitos?"
"An uncontrollable dimensional shift. Who knows."
"Organize a search party at once. When the outsiders arrive, we must bring them before the Council."
"They say the Chosen One is with them!"
"But the Chosen One is here in Asgard!"
"Not the current Chosen. The Devoured Chosen has returned!"
"But if she was devoured, how could she return...?"
"Good question. We'll just have to ask her when she gets here!"

Hikari jolted awake.
"Who...?" She looked at Kanien and Xantos for a moment with complete confusion. Then her memory, slower than the rest of her body, caught up.
"Are you guys okay? Are you hurt? The voice told me to use something and I did but I don't know if it worked and...!"

"Mitos...? I don't know. Last I heard, he went out with the Dark Guard to fight Cruxis... Hey, has anyone seen Mitos-sama?" the villager asked the crowd. They all began mumurering amongst themselves.
"He materialized somewhere near the Senate building! A few of our shinobi took him to the hospital, since he didn't look so good!"
"Mitos-oniichan has this wierd teleportation ability, but he can't control it," Hikari explained. "I wanted to make sure I didn't accidentally make up that particular memory on my own. If I can remember correctly... the hospital is... this way." She started walking down the street.
