All I'm saying is that there is a direct correlation between one's sensitivity to light and their eye/skin color. Blue eyes are much more sensitive to light than brown eyes.

Right. It's your natural skin color we're talking about.

Either way, it doesn't matter. The genes responsible for the eye color are different from the genes responsible for the skin tone.
That's why so many people of Hispanic Descent have green eyes. In fact, I knew a Spanish person who was VERY sensitive to bright lights.

Now, here's what I'm wondering... They say certain vitamins can improve one's sight in the dark... So does that mean that an abundance of those vitamins actually causes the eyes to become a lighter shade?

It sounds very possible, but I can't find anything to support it. Then again, my research skills are the suck right now. It's almost 4:00am. sweatdrop

Well, if I recall correctly it's the same vitamin which you absorb by being out in the sun... So if your hair can get sun bleeched... I mean, obviously you can't just stare directly into the sun saying, "My eyes will be a lighter color!" But if you were to take in that same vitamin by other means... Hmm...

I can't find anything where it's actually been proven, but they're trying to develope a pill to alter your skin/eye/hair coloration. Of course, with vitamins. So technically, you're right. Someone says that they are on the brink of developing it.

Also there isn't anything scientifically proving that eye color is directly linked to how a person sees at night, but as a series of collected surveys and studies, it's very likely.

So if they developed a vitamin based pill that altered color levels, then it's entirely possible that it could affect vision. I'm sure that they would have to know scientifically how it works before they could do such a thing though.
