Best. Series. Ever.

If he (and I) weren't already married, I'd be having Jim Butcher's babies.

There's a reason he's got 10 books out, and it's not just because his agent is amazing.

You want vampires that aren't carbon copied Anne Rice ones? He's got vampires. You want faeries going bad? He owes Queen Mab two favors. He's a bit weak on the werewolf/shift rep, but the College were's are awesomesauce. Ghosts? Check. Angst? Tastefully laced through out the series. Sarcastic humor? Epic butt tons of fun.

Seriously. Go out, borrow Storm Front from your local library, or buy it, I don't care. But read it, you'll fall head over heals for Harry. And if guys aren't your type, Kathryn Murphy is a good follow up.

But please. If you like the Urban Fantasy genre... read them! leaps and bounds better than Anita Blake.

Oh and my fav female character is Kitty the Werewolf from the Kitty and the Midnight Hour series.

Good werewolf fun.

OH MY GOD. Favorite character EVER (this is a recent developement)!!!!!! I like him in the book better though... The movie was too different.

Ohhhh me too! I don't think I can really decide if I like him better in the movie or book since it's my favorite book of all time and the movie is tied for second place.
