Did you know that in RE1/Director's Cut, when playing as Jill, and keep Barry alive... After the triggering system is announced, you can find Wesker's dead body near the self destruct mechanism.
And no, he's not there in REmake.

Well, originally, they probably planned it that Wesker died after that. It was even outlined that Chiemras killed him, in the first RE novel.
Then after they said, "What if we brought him back?"

did you know that in RE3, when you meet Carlos and Nicholai on the cable car, Nicholai's name isn't mentioned at all.

then after the cutscenes over and you go to the gas station to the the (oil i think. haven't played in awhile), Nicholai walks in and then when the place starts to blow up she yells "Nicholai!!!" even though they never introduced each other.

And his name was never mentioned to Jill...just that he was also mercanary.

It counts, but my point is, I noticed it a long long time ago, and that's proof. Sort of. Even though I noticed it long before actually posting it.
