(translated: It's a lie!) heart That would be sugoi (translated: awesome) but not likely Sailor Moon was stopped a long time ago and you can't trust rumors on YouTube + there's also reasons why they shouldn't do it For example: It might not compare to the before seasons It's been a while since Naoko made Sailor Moon Naoko now has a family to think about Naoko has other works And then there's the fact that they didn't even show the fifth season in America because it was more mature and the Japanese are less strict about watching mature stuffs than us peoples over here sad Why use a word just to translate it? As for "Naoko has a family to think about", allowing Sailor Moon to air again would be good for her and her family, at least financially. I mean, she's probably got plenty of money from before so long as she had sense to save and not go nuts, but re-releasing Sailor Moon and having merchandise made again would mean financial security for her and her family for a long time to come, and nobody can say that they don't want financial security.
That's not how it works when you have other works to finish. Reopening something that big could take up the time she would spend with her family and I for one wouldn't even wish that on someone. |

Okay. I watched that youtube vid talking about it. For one, that looks to be someone's attempt at flash art. Fine, more power to him but it's not Sailor Moon.
I tracked down some reasons this may be getting out of hand thanks to Google. I stopped at the first thousand *brain hurts burning_eyes *
There were several forums and blogs that said the same thing "Sailormoon's coming back in 2009!!". No confirmation, no exterior links, no proof.
Further in, I found a blog that sent me to what may have unintentionally played this as true

That was posted by Naoko New years Day of this year.
Looks like a line of hope at first. But when I continued reading the blog a)this has nothing to do with Sailor Moon, it's just her art. b) here was the proof offered to that thanks to the website she sited "MoonKitty.net"
Something else lost in translation comes from a Spanish youtube video. It truly looks like Cartoon Network is going to reair Sailormoon, but after internet translation of Spanish, I find, this is quite not so.
The title is Feliz dia de los santos inocentes ! 28/12/08 which is "Happy Birthday to the Holy Innocent" i.e. our April Fools. Really nothing to do with Sailormoon. Well in it's description is Cartoon network transmitira sailor moon en 2009 , a festejar!!!! which equals "Cartoon network is going to show sailor moon again in 2009 ! be happy!" At the very end of the vid it says underneath a CN logo Macemos lo quo Queremos which from what I can tell is "We bruise it, and we want it." In other words, we ******** it up, but now we want it back. This is translated more from Mexican than Spanish, which is actually different in ways. A post that was obviously from someone who could understand it off the bat was mmmmmmmm .. que mal !

The whole thing contradicts itself because....IT'S A JOKE!!!! scream
If someone were to watch it and see the "2009" at the end and the CN logo without reading/translating any of the words or comments, then they could believe that Sailormoon was coming back if only just to CN Espanol, and make a ruckus all over the damn internet.
Sorry if I'm treading on anyone's dreams, but better not to get your hopes up. If you want Sailormoon, stick to Korean bootlegs and BitTorrents. There's more reliability in those, unfortunately crying
