Mikyo looked at Akane with an odd look.
"...is there something you want to tell me???"

"Heh, don't change the subject!! What happend? Why did Hero perform a blizzard?" She retorted.

((You're not sleeping? I mean.. it should be like.. 2 or something down by where you live.))

"Then answer the rest of my questions, "Akane narrowed her eyes. She then calmed herself down, "Whatever.." She walked back to the tree she was leaning on earlier.

Mikyo looked at Akane with pastion.
"i dont care if you cry...i only care if you keep it from me. i want to be there when you cry so i can comfort you...make you happy."

Akane couldn't dare to look at him, "... I.. am afraid of the war. Afraid of losing you.." Her shoulders became tensed and nervous, as her eyes looked down. She then crossed her arms.

"..you wont...i have the whole battle planned out..."
Mikyo hugged her tightly.
"...i promise."

Akane allowed Mikyo's tight embace hold her. Akane laid her head on his shoulder, '.. please.. don't leave my side. I don't want to fight this battle alone.' She thought with strong emotions.

"im sorry that i have to..if my plan does not work...countless people might die. and you wont be alone. you'll have Uno, and the others to keep you company."
mikyo looked deep into her eyes.

"... " No reply came from Akane.. she pulled back from Mikyo and looked the opposite direction, "... I don't know.. what to do." The fear of losing her life did not make it to her mind, however losing her squad members did. Deciding to respect his decisions, she replied, "Alright.. do what you have to do." And looked down at her hands that were still crossed.

Mikyo hugged her from behind and kissed her head.
"i wont die....i promise you and Uno...i wont die. this...is one of those times...that i wish i was human....just once."

Akane stood still, "There are a change of plans. I and my squad are to head over to the entrence gates.. Take care of yourself. I'll be heading over there now." turned to Mikyo and kissed him.

Mikyo was enraged at the change in his defensive plan.
"IS HE TRYING TO GET THE GENIN AND CHUUNIN KILLED!!!!!"
Mikyo calmed himself and the kiss had helped him.
"if you are in trouble i will come...."

"Ok.. calm down. The Chunnin and the Gennin are the only ones with squads. And I know you will." She gave him a small smile.
