I'm not worrying about stuff like that right now, really. I haven't even created your character, let alone many. That's not important right now. I have to make maps and scripts right now. Finishing the intro for the demo is priority, and I don't think you are in the intro.
Sorry if that sounds harsh, but I can't get too ambitious with this or I'll never get done.

Or is the good or not stuff thing a secret till it's out?

No, I'm not far enough along in game development to know exactly how everything ends up. So I kind of have an idea, but really it's not a big deal.
I've essentially got story outlines typed up that are obviously secret and then I make the game as I go, sticking to the story notes I wrote down.
The outlines designated almost no Culties, as I am adding them in or placing them as I see fit for characters that the story notes call for.
Also, most Culties are good guys. Only a select few are villains, the rest are original characters.
I hope that answers your question.

Obviously many Culties are involved in the story.
Some are party members along the way, some are bosses/minibosses, some are NPCs.
So yeah. That's definitely been asked before but I'll let it slide.
