I've been playing a bit over a year. My primary instrument is actually voice, but I'm very passionate about playing the violin and I am committed to my studies. I'm a member of a small string orchestra, but my favorite music to play is chamber music. My violin is named Elina, and she is an antique instrument handed down to me by a dear family friend.
My favorite violin piece is The Lark Ascending by Ralph Vaughan Williams, but I also love the violin concerti of Tchaikovsky, Mendelssohn, and Jennifer Higdon. I also love Beethoven's Op. 131 string quartet.

Hey! I'm Charlotte, and I've been playing for just under twelve years. I started when I was five, initially as just to try something new, but I've grown to love it! My violin's name is Oliver, although I use "Tempest" as a bit of a pet name :3
I'd have to say that Tchaikovsky's Fourth Symphony has been my favorite piece. The first violin part especially is ridiculously challenging, but it's so invigorating and dramatic. A close second would be probably the Prokofiev Romeo and Juliet (RUSSIAN MUSIC >///<)

I've been playing for four years. I have two violins, one electric and one acoustic. Electric's name is Hun-Chowen (mayan music god) and the acoustic one is Ixbalamque (another mayan god). I don't really have a favorite piece, but I love russian music and italian music. I'm trying to learn Vivaldi's Summer, I'm going really slow at it.
