@Marcus-short but very sweet, nice ryhmes. @riyou-chan:proubly one of the whackiest poems I've read in a while.
Now a sad drabble. ((joyxElla))
She was the strong one, wasn't she? The one who held the swords and used them so wonderfully, so skillfully, like a dancer who know her body so perfectly. Her being alive, it was beautiful.
Now she wasn't beautiful. Death didn’t leave beautiful corpses. Joy understood that now. Beauty was in movement, in touches, in warmth. Death was anything but.
So she lay down between her still—forever still, never beautiful—corpse, hugging it tightly and went to sleep, hoping to never wake up. Hoping to be ugly, like her.

Devils Never Cry
Born into sin, raised into hate Forced to be cursed with such a fate Trapped in darkness, lost in light Never known the sun, never seen the light Can never truly die and Devils never cry Filled with sorrow, filled with shame Caught in a void and who do you blame? Has no heart but still can break Has no concience, but feels each mistake Does not know the thing called love Does not know the world above The flames of Hell Are known too well Inner turmoil, a life so torn but no one cares so no one will mourn A being so hated, so shunned for its exsistance Must waltz alone in the unholy dance Misunderstood, so much left unknown But its true nature shall never be shown A liar, a killer, so many names to call Even the angels laugh til they too fall Cannot be saved, cannot redeem Easilt forgotten, like a bad dream

Chapter 1 Truth June 30th, 2008 14:29:09
Dakota Anne Thompson- or otherwise known as “Cody”- stood outside an arcade, waiting for her friend to come out. She wasn’t exactly the girliest girl you’ve ever seen, she was actually a tomboy. Cody wore dark-wash jeans with a white t-shirt under her baggy zip up hooded sweater. To ‘accessorize’ her look, there was a skateboard under one arm, a chain around her neck and a chain on her jeans. Cody had one of those ‘no pink or ruffles’ policies. The other things was, was that you would not catch Dakota Anne in any dress. None. That was the end of it. Cody sighed impatiently, dropping the skateboard, putting her foot on top of it, making it roll back and forth slowly. Her friend, Rick, was only supposed to be getting two smoothies and coming back. She had been standing outside the arcade for ten to fifteen minutes now. She decided to go in and figure out where it was that Rick went. She tucked her skateboard under her arm again and walked into the store. Cody smirked as she saw her black haired, blue eyed friend, gazing into an arcade game. She knew that he could never resist them. The two smoothies sat beside him, slowly turning into mush. “Donovan,” Cody laughed. “Where’d my smoothie go?” Donovan froze and moments after, there was a loud voice coming from the game. ‘Loser! Loser! Loser!’ It had said. Cody shook her head. ‘I have no idea why you play that game. Its no wonder your self esteem is so low.” She laughed and then grabbed one of the smoothies bringing the straw up to her lips. “Sorry, I just cou-...” Donovan started. “Couldn’t resist… I know I know…” Cody finished for him. Donovan laughed. “I’m not sure if it’s a good thing, or a bad thing that you know me too well.” He said. Cody smirked, shaking her head, walking to the exit of the store, Donovan quickly following.
~*~ *~ *~ Later on in the day, Cody sat in her bedroom, on her bed. An MP3 player sat beside her, her headphones blaring into her pierced and slightly pointed ears. Her curly brown hair was up in a loose ponytail. She had sparkling magenta eyes, an unusual colour. Cody’s mother used to tell her stories about her father and how he was an elf with the same magenta eyes as her own. She was told that her father was a great elven sorcerer and that he had been through many great and terrible battles. Cody passed the stories off as a sign that her mother was going senile. Sometimes though, she thought of herself as the daughter of a powerful sorcerer. Cody’s thoughts vanished as the door came ajar. She looked up and saw her mother standing in the doorway. She appeared to be speaking but Cody couldn’t hear her. She took her headphones away from her ears and then looked up again. “What was that that you said?” Cody asked, stopping the music from blaring through the headphones. Her mother chuckled slightly and shook her head. “Dinner is ready.” She said simply. She then turned around and walked back into the kitchen. Cody tossed her things aside and got up, following her mother. Cody’s mother was a younger mother. She had violet eyes and longer, black wavy hair. Her jaw line was long and slender. She was thirty-eight but Cody wondered if maybe she was in her twenties. Some of Cody’s friends considered her mother to be a ‘hot mom’ which disgusted her. Her name was Lanna. Lanna sat at the table, dishing out food for the both of them. Cody sat down across from her mother and then sighed. “Mom… what was Dad really like?” Cody asked, staring down at the steamed vegetables on her plate. Lanna looked up. “I’ve told you-…” “No. What was he really like? I mean… without the whole, fairytale idea.” Cody said slowly. “I’m sorry Cody… I’m afraid that I can’t tell you anything else.” Lanna said, looking down at her plate and stabbing a piece of chicken. Cody sighed but said nothing else.
~*~*~*~
When the time came, Cody began getting ready for bed. She walked into her room and threw her book on her desk. She heard mumbling coming from the next room. It was Lanna. Cody pressed her ear firmly against the wall and heard Lanna speaking fluently and quickly in a strange language. Cody didn’t know that her mother knew any other languages. She listened closer to see if she knew what the language was. She shook her head as she could not identify the language. It appeared that Lanna was speaking to someone else; a male voice. Cody heard Lanna gasp and then a few English words: “I’ll get her there as soon as possible… I’m sorry. I’ll see you soon…” There was a long pause, and then: “I miss you…” The male voice returned the comment and then they said goodbye. Cody quickly got into bed before her mother came in. Apparently, from what she had heard and understood, Lanna needed to pick someone up and bring them somewhere. Who was it though? Where did she have to go? Why was her mother ‘sorry’? Lanna burst into Cody’s room fear in her eyes. Cody’s thoughts vanished and worry spread on her face. “What’s wrong?!” Cody asked, slipping out of bed. “You must come with me! There’s trouble back home and we must go there! I know you must be confused, but I’ll explain as we go.” Lanna said quickly. Cody almost didn’t understand what her mother had said but she got up and followed anyways. “You see, there are three realms; The Earthen realm, the realm we’re on right now, the Kingdom realm, the one you were born on, and then Mindless realm, the realm where all of the… what’s the word… ‘Uneducated’ creatures live. I come from the Kingdom realm like you. I was told to look after you when I was only a bit younger than you.” Lanna said. Cody stopped. “Wait… I thought you were in your late thirties! That would make you in your late twenties!” Cody said. Lanna nodded and then kept walking. “Anyways, you are the daughter of an elven sorcerer; which is why you have pointed ears. Your mother was a princess of a kingdom far away from the one I lived in. After your parents were murdered by the evil sorcerer, you were sent to my kingdom. On the way to the kingdom, your powerstone was stolen, which meant that any power your body may have pocessed, was stripped from you as the power stone left contact with your skin."

The boys remorse.
Still it was on winters eve, The valleys chill with setting sun, There was boy so small, Who sat above the shifting sea.
His face was dampened by his tears, And watch he did the waves caress, The waters swirling cold, and grasses swaying o'er the lee.
Upon the seawall did he sit, And watched that day 'til darkness fell, The ships sail forth into the night, His mater borne away.
She promised him she would return, And he need only bide his time, So from the seawall did he watch, The oceans day by day.
Sing so sweetly blows the wind, Distraught the boy who's sole regret, His mater left to sail the seas, And nay did she return.
So still he'd wait until the day, His mater she'd come back to him, And than he would no longer weep For he'd be joyous once again.
Still he sat as years they passed, No sign of her, was he to glimpse, For he did sit the seawalls edge, The day the storm blew in.
And sailing the storms aftermath, His mater did return to find, The sea wall had been stripped away, Lost to the storm he'd been.
Sing so sweetly blows the wind, Distraught the boy who's sole regret, His mater left to sail the seas, And nay did she return.
So still he'd wait until the day, His mater she'd come back to him, And than he would no longer weep For he'd be joyous once again.

Suppose its about Daddys and mines plot ending. The end Cause I can feel the end. Time to stop the game you my foe,my friend. And this pain I'll lend. Turn around try it twice Round two!!Act like were nice. Dark void, take me down. darkness swallow up,blood in a cup. Cause I can feel the end. Do you feel it too? Stand on the edge Thats what the lies said. The end is near so don't you fear. Friend of foe. Lets play a little more. Rolling clouds, swords clash. What for? Fun,for the end is near. Us having to stop is what we fear. And we lie here,in blood and tears. Caged us so,second skin to thee. And try again, more fury, more need to slay. Tougher, rougher, hungry, desperete. Jump over the edge, fall down, fall up. I kept it. Cause I feel the end.
